A tour not to be missed - Chris Perley is incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic storyteller. He made the Garden District come alive with his descriptions of the place and its people and made me want to know more. Don’t miss out on this awesome tour and Chris.

Fun and engaging experience with an excellent tour guide! - Chris was a fantastic tour guide. He is an excellent story teller and was able to share all the important and fun details throughout our tour of the Garden District. He provided a colorful backdrop and was engaging throughout. I cannot recommend Chris and this tour enough!

Garden District Gem - While on a graduation trip for my daughter, we decided to do this tour at the last minute, and it turned out to be the highlight of our time in New Orleans. DeAnna was beyond personable and knowledgeable. I particularly loved how she was clearly telling stories and not just going off a script she had memorized. She made us feel welcome and genuinely seems to love what she does. I also appreciated that she was patient with me--I used to live in New Orleans and peppered her with questions about things I remembered and couldn't resist sharing some stories of my own! I have been on tours in St. Augustine, St. Simons, Savannah, and a few during my time in NOLA. This was by far the best I have experienced!

Amazing experience. - Chris is amazing. My Wife and I are quite reserved when it comes to opening up and speaking to strangers - but he made us feel right at home. Like a neighbor showing us around a brand new area! Very knowledgeable about NOLA and quick to dispel inaccurate information other guides might spread. If we ever come back to the area, he’s gonna be the guy we try to see!

Tour of the Historical Garden District - You’d be hard-pressed to find a better tour guide in the city of New Orleans than Chris. Our tour of the garden district lived up to every expectation that we had and then some. Very happy with our decision to tour with Chris and we can’t recommend him enough! Thanks again Chris!

New Orleans Garden District Tour with Chris Perley - Loved the New Orleans Garden District tour! I highly recommend that you ask for Chris Perley as your tour guide. He's very knowledgeable, friendly and patient (plus handsome--see attached photo!!). He explains everything in his actor's quality voice and encourages you to ask questions. Take this tour with Chris--you won't be disappointed.

Lived up to the name of the tour - This did indeed have all the GOSSIP and all the GRANDUER!! The Garden district is such a unique and beautiful area and we learned so much about it with our wonderful guide, Deanna. Deanna shared so many great stories about the neighborhood and the houses and was just a delight to be around for 2 hours. She highlighted a good number of houses, architectural styles, eras, celebrity mentions and history. Group was just the right size that we could ask questions and go at the right pace. Very good day in NOLA on this tour.

A very worthwhile tour of the lovely Garden District - My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Chris Perley to ourselves on a walking tour viewing the impressive mansions and cemetery in New Orleans’ Garden District. He was a knowledgeable, engaging, and witty guide to the architecture, history, and entertaining stories of the homes’ builders and subsequent owners. But he also took care to distinguish between what is well grounded and sometimes fanciful stories that are passed on to visitors. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend taking a garden district tour with Chris! - Chris was an expert tour guide and a wealth of knowledge! My husband and I lucked out and ended up being the only two on the tour yesterday and we had the best time talking with Chris and learning about the garden district. He was my favorite tour guide across the three New Orleans tours I have done and the garden district tour was one of the highlights of our trips.

Excellent way to see the beautiful garden district - This tour takes you along the beautiful streets of the garden district while you learn about the homes, history and gossip that makes NOLA so interesting. The preservation of the homes is quite amazing. The stories told take you back in time and also discuss some of the present real estate trends in the neighborhood. I highly suggest this tour for anyone visiting NOLA. It was so nice to get out of the French Quarter to explore.
