Fabulous Kayak tour of Manchac Swamp - We were picked up on time from the French Quarter. Stephanie mentioned many sights while we drove to the the swamp. Once we starting paddling Stephanie pointed out the the turtles, cardinals, redwing black birds, warblers, and 3 types of woodpecker. We also saw 4 or 5 alligators sunning themselves and later we had a close up look at a Bard Owl and Great Blue Heron. Stephanie was very knowledgable about the history, ecology and knew the birds calls which helped us sight so many wonderful animals and birds in the water. She is a a wonderful guide that I would highly recommend.

Lovely December kayak tour with guide Alex - Our guide Alex was kind and knowledgeable with lots of information on the swamp history. The tour was physically easy and manageable. We saw lots of birds and a gator or two even though it was December. The kayaks were reliable and sturdy. I'd been scheduled for the kayak and plantation tour but I was the only one signed up so the night before the office called to reschedule me for just the kayak tour and offer the difference refunded. While it would have been nice to see Whitney plantation it was still great to get out in the swamp. Would definitely recommend this tour and I'd do it again on another visit.

Kayak through the swamp - The swamp was beautiful. Too cold to see gators, but still saw some wildlife. It was a fun trip, wish my wife paddled better.

Great tour, MJ was an... - Great tour, MJ was an excellent and knowledgeable guide! We did a 2pm tour, meaning we were picked up from the meeting place at 1pm ("2pm tour" means you start kayaking at 2pm). We stopped at a gas station with food/restrooms before getting on the water. Kayaking was great, we saw several alligators and a bunch of turtles. We were back at the meeting place at around 6pm.
