Very Informative and Entertaining Tour of One of New Orleans Private Cemeteries - We enjoyed the very informative tour with Sally. She was very knowledgeable about New Orleans history, especially when it comes to the cemeteries of New Orleans. As the description states on the webpage, we visited graves of famous residents of New Orleans and learned about their storied past.

Amazing Tour - Sally is GREAT. So knowledgeable (I don’t think you could get a tour guide with more knowledge on these cemeteries). Sally is kind and takes time to answer all questions. She brought umbrellas and made sure everyone was doing well thought the tour. I HIGHLY recommend this tour when you visit. I can’t say enough good about the tour and about Sally! (The crows were a highlight).

Sallie is a wealth of knowledge - This tour was outstanding! Sallie knows her history, and makes the tour interesting and she is able to answer pretty much every question you have. I would highly recommend for anybody who’s looking for an educational and interesting tour. I would agree with the review below….. this is not for toddlers….a two-year-old, obviously, would not enjoy a cemetery tour. I’m not sure who bases their review on whether a two year-old is pleased or not. 🙄 I would highly recommend Sallie and this tour!

Great tour experience! - We had a wonderful tour with Sally that included such a fascinating history and education. As first time visitors we were looking for a tour guide that could offer history and facts of Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. All of our expectations were exceeded, and would highly recommend Sally as a guide who is well versed in local history and can bring to life the stories and people of New Orleans!

Excellent tour - Glenn was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Please note that he walks at a quick pace and a lot of the terrain in the cemetery would not be good for people that use mobility devices or for strollers.

Sally Asher is the best tour guide we have ever toured with!! - Our tour guide Sally Asher was excellent. She was detailed to the Nth degree. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and very organized. She explained in full detail the many stories and histories of some of the most beautiful and elaborate mausoleums. My favorite was the Mausoleum of Ann Rice. Knowing how much our tour guide has studied and researched the history and drama of the many "residents" made this tour the most entertaining of any tour we have been on. Great Job! Will recommend it highly to everyone we know! Hope Sally is still the tour guide!!

Not good for families with younger kids - The guide that we booked with ended up having somebody else cover the tour for her as she was out of town. I did not find the guide that we had particularly interesting. Also, this tour is not something to bring a young child to. We thought that we would be walking more but it was a lot of standing around listening to the guy talk about all these people he knows personally and my 2 year old was not pleased.
