Narrator was excellent.... - Narrator was excellent. Good background on New Orleans. What happened during Hurricane Katrina was especially interesting. Luncheon was good even for a notoriously picky eater. Good way to spend a few hours in air conditioning!

Bucket list experience tick - Really good experience, well organised, the staff really friendly and helpful, the guy who was explaining the history of the boat and the places of interest on the river was full of knowledge, and you could tell he enjoyed his work and was proud of his home city of New Orleans, a good couple of hours spent on the river and a wish list tick completed, recommend this experience.

Battlefield cruise - The cruise was informative and pleasant. We enjoyed the narration and history. We sat up front on a bench on the way to the battlefield site and at a table on back covered area on way back.

Fine print missing?? - The only reason why I don’t leave 5 stars is I don’t remember the website stating 2 things; a bag search and I had to discard the beignets I had just purchased because food wasn’t allowed to be brought onboard

One of our favorite parts... - One of our favorite parts was listening to the story of the timeline/history of hurricane Katrina. It was nice to taste the different cuisines to know what you like and use that knowledge around town finding local versions.

Great for history - the... - Great for history - the narrator was good and available for questions. Be prepared for a long walk to the battlefield site which is tough on a hot day. On the day I went the house was closed for renovations and the visitor center was closed because had no A/C so…. Also we were told the cemetery was too far a walk to get back to not on time. Crew very friendly. If it’s history you want this is good for the time allowed. But if it’s hot not that enjoyable to sit on the “outside” of boat
