Excellent recap of WWII! - This film was very educational and well-presented. Having grown up with a father who was a Marine fighter pilot in the Pacific, I enjoyed seeing some of the places he talked about my whole life.

Yes, it’s as good as they say - Fantastic museum. Spent a total of 9 hours over two days. Not just a NOLA must-see, but a nationwide treasure worth a special trip.

Fantastic experience! - This museum is enriching and educational, and it left us with an overwhelming feeling of honor for our soldiers and deep sadness for those who lost their lives. We did the Follow A Soldier Dog Tag experience which was interactive and exciting to learn about your soldier. Brilliant! We got through four of the buildings and were there from mid morning until closing. Plan to spend an entire day and then some, if possible. Not to miss!

Wonderful visit! - Love this museum! So, interesting. We spent most of the day and still didn't get to see it all. I would love to go back again. We just didn't have enough time. Recommend to everyone to visit!

Give yourself more time. - This is a wonderful exhibit that moves through the history of the war in a well thought out progression. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time. We spent 6 hours and probably missed half of the exhibits.

WWII Museum - We spent 5 hours in this museum and could have spent more time there. Very well done and worth it. Did the Beyond All Boundaries with Tom Hanks narration, well worth it.

As a local, this is one of my FAVORITE places to go - As a local, this is one of my FAVORITE places to go. I always enjoy learning what the men and women during the WWII time did for our country. The sacrifices both here and over both oceans are recognized.

The Must-See Museum In New Orleans - We spent 6 hours at this fantastic museum. Make sure to get tickets for Beyond all Boundaries. We learned about the USS Tang. We saw the types of planes that were used during the war. We saw a recreation of the living quarters of Anne Frank. We were brought to tears by the pictures of the German concentration camps. Our biggest regret was that we should have arrived earlier so that we could have seen more. As for food, there are a variety of snack places in the complex.

Educational and Interesting - This is a truly wonderful museum, but it is far too big to cover in one day, so you have to pick and choose if your time is limited. I found the family itinerary on the website very helpful in planning our day. We went with our 11 year old child, and she is quite interested in history, so we probably spent about 4 hours there. In addition to taking in several well-done exhibits, we saw Beyond All Boundaries , the 4D cinematic experience. It has some startling noises and intense content, so parents should judge the appropriateness for their children. We also did the New Freedom Theater experience. The museum is clearly puts the US in the most positive light possible, and, as a history teacher, I would have liked to have seen a more nuanced discussion of topics such as dropping the A-bombs and other topics. But overall, the museum provides excellent insight to the most important event of the 20th Century.
