If you choose the airboat option - you will experience the best of both: a swamp tour and an airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat then slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium style seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view. Every airboat seat is great for experiencing the tour and viewing the wildlife. Gators will get close…….real close!!!

Enjoy an unforgettable 3-hour journey on our comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus to explore New Orleans. No visit to New Orleans is complete without experiencing the city’s highlights and witnessing some of the areas impacted by Katrina’s floodwaters. Afterwards, venture into the swamps to immerse yourself in the history and culture of the Creoles with a licensed tour guide, either on a tour boat or an airboat. (Please select your preferred boat when booking.) The water excursion lasts for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

• Folding wheelchairs are allowed on the bus, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
• Service animals are permitted.
• Emotional support animals are not permitted.
• Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
• When traveling with multiple passengers, you must make one booking with all passengers to insure that you are on the same boat. If you did not book together, you are not guaranteed to be together.
• Minimum height requirement for airboats is 48 inches.
• Participants with back problems are not permitted on an airboat
• Participants with heart complications or other serious medical conditions are not permitted on an airboat
• Pregnant women are not permitted on an airboat
• Airboats are not handicapped accessible. There are no lifts or ramps available for use. Guests must be able to get on or off of the boat themselves or with the help of someone in their party.
• Service animals are permitted but not recommended on airboats due to the volume of noise on the boat and threats of surrounding wildlife.
