Fantastic - Fantastic experience. I had a wonderful time. We learned so much about the origins of jazz, the history of the city and Louisiana, with such a great guide, it was amazing. I really had lots of fun and definitely recommend it.

Terrific Tremé Tour - Our tour guide was New Orleans Nate and he was great! Extremely knowledgeable and had what I call “receipts” to back up everything he was telling us. His personality was charismatic as well. He spoke loud enough for everyone to hear him. He was patient with everyone taking pictures as well. He even helped me get my phone back when I left it in the coffee shop prior to the tour. I love New Orleans and learned a lot about the neighborhood of Tremé. I definitely recommend this tour, request Nawlins Nate if you can!

Highly Recommended Insight - This was an extremely insightful tour of Treme VOODOO/JAZZ. My guide, David H. was courteous through a torrential downpour and we still managed to see many major parts of the city, learned a short history of Katrina, Voodoo, and Jazz, in a much tighter time span than you could imagine. It was GREAT! Highly recommended

Mr. Higgins was very... - Mr. Higgins was very nice. I wish we would have gotten a chance to see everything during the tour but he touched on some of the other things on the way to lil dizzy’s. I really appreciated that he walked us over and the conversation there was my favorite part of the experience.

Historical truth-telling - I'd previously done a Garden District walking tour in New Orleans and had a good experience. This time I was looking for something a little edgier and off the beaten path. Nate was our guide for this tour. He's somewhat of a local institution as he's grown up in the Treme area and possesses firsthand knowledge of the subject matter. Our group was small and very personal. Nate has a reputation for not embellishing history. Some of my personal highlights included the architecture of Treme, the myth .v. reality of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, Congo Square and its significance to African Americans and Louis Armstrong Park.

Informative But No Entrance - It was very informative. The tour guide was great! I didn't rate it a 5 because the tour itself didn't allow you to go into certain places.
