The guide was full of facts and entertaining, speaking almost non-stop for the duration of the tour. If you can, see the Storyville museum (which was also very good) first which will help with putting those facts in order.

Our tour was amazing, primarily due to our excellent tour guide Erin! She was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and respectful about all aspects of the great city of New Orleans. While maintaining a conversational tone, answering lots of ad hoc questions, and keeping up the energy, we still learned a ton and I walked away with a great appreciation and respect for all of the unique people and stories that have shaped the city. Couldn't recommend more highly, was a great way to spend time during our first trip to New Orleans.

’ve been on dozens of walking tours over the years, especially in New Orleans, and unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve had. The tour began with us standing in one spot for about 35 minutes, and the storytelling never really picked up from there. The history presented wasn’t particularly engaging, informative, or even as entertaining or “bawdy” as advertised.
Timing was also very off. A stop that was described as happening about an hour into the tour didn’t occur until well over an hour and a half in, which made the pacing feel slow and disorganized. While there were a few interesting facts sprinkled in, the overall delivery felt unfocused — the guide seemed more interested in giggling at their own jokes than actually leading a compelling experience.
We ended up leaving early, which is something I’ve never done on a walking tour before. I really wanted to enjoy this, but it just didn’t live up to expectations.
