Taylor was great!!! - Our tour guide Taylor was very knowledgeable and very excited about everything he had to share. Was very open to any questions overall it was very informative. Really appreciated the church donating the tent coverings. Even though it was March, it was still hot and they will be very helpful as the weather gets hotter.

Do it! - A really neat experience. We learned a lot about the city and some of its famous people, as well as some interesting stuff about burial practices that are still in operation in New Orleans!

Interesting cemetary but unfortunately got a bad tour guide - Let me start by saying, I rarely leave a bad review. I generally will leave no review at all if I'm not pleased, but I'm hoping this feedback will be helpful to someone. I wasn't thrilled with this tour. The cemetery itself was interesting, but it would have been better with different guide or maybe at a different time of the day. We chose the 4 p.m. tour. When we started, the guide was speaking very quickly. A lady in the group let him know she was having trouble understanding him and asked if he could slow down. He responded something along the lines of "this is my 6th tour of the day, I started at 8 a.m., my dogs are barking, and I'm trying to get this done". The woman responded "But sir, this is my 1st tour of the day. I've traveled all the way from Chicago to do this. I just want to have a good experience". He came right back at her saying he was trying to get this done. My 7-year-old summed it up later. He said "The guide was pretty sassy with that lady. He was rude to her". He tried to recover a few minutes later and said that the Catholic Church has quick standards about when they have to be done, and since we are the last tour, we've got be out at a certain time and we have a lot to cover. But even this sounded like he was being defensive more than anything. The duration of the tour, he spoke very quickly. As he would move from one area to another, he would start talking as he walked, and I missed about half of what he was saying if I was in the middle or back of the group. He was talking as he walked away from the group, making it difficult to hear. He didn't wait for the group to catch up at all. I spoke with another guide while we were waiting for our tour to start, and she paid a lot of attention to my son and was very nice to us. I suspect her guests got a much better experience than we did. At the end of the day, we spent about $90 for the three of us to take this tour. We would have been better off going to a different cemetery that didn't require the guided tour, since we didn't get much out of this one. My advice - See if you can choose a specific tour guide and look at other reviews to get the right tour guide. I would also choose an earlier tour and not the end of the day. All of the guides looked hot and tired by 4 p.m.
