Thanks to the incredible efforts of city archivists and historians, like the one who curated our tour, Hottest Hell can now bring this forgotten neighborhood back to life. Through historic photographs, visual aids, and engaging storytelling, each guest receives a “blue book”—inspired by the original ‘guides to gals’ available to ‘Tenderloin’ visitors—to help visualize what was lost when Storyville was transformed.
