Highly Informative and Passionate Guide! - Erin was a fantastic and highly qualified tour guide to present the history of Treme. It is a nonstop stream of information, facts, and stories of the people which provides a holistic view of what happened in this area. You can sense the passion about these topics radiating from this guide who will not shy away from the truth. Virtually every question that people asked on my tour was able to be answered by Erin which speaks to the level of research conducted to provide accurate information. If it wasn't that we took the tour later in the trip, we would have definitely wanted to take more with this guide. At 22 dollars for each person, it was such a great value. FYI: If you go on a monday, you won't have bathroom breaks because many shops are closed but you will get the most information on your tour as a result.

This is a must do tour for anyone visiting New Orleans!!! - Erin was super knowledgeable and friendly during our tour. She was amazing at thleling us about the true history, and not white-washing it like has happened. We had 3 kids with us, ages 10, 12, and 15, and they learned so much during this tour! This was included in our GoCity pass and the tour lasted just over 2 hours. She said the tour that we took was one of the biggest ones she’d led, but it was a very manageable size at about 25 participants. It was super nice to incorporate music in to the tour, it really added another layer to the history! It was one of the most memorable moments of our trip!

Wonderful, Educational, and Enjoyable Tour - I really had a very educational experience with the tour from Erin who was great. I learned about black Indians, the history of Congo Square being a place where slaves came to express their culture through dance and language. I also learned about the history of Treme what it use to be. Best tour we had in terms of understanding the history of that area. Loved how Erin also played music and sound to help us further experience that time.

Incredible tour and guide! - Erin’s tour of Treme was so informative, and she’s an incredibly warm and friendly guide. We learned about the origins of jazz in a way I’ve never heard, as well as the dark history of the neighborhood. You won’t get a tour like this anywhere else in the city!
