Best tour ever - Thought it was a simple house tour but came away with one of our best experiences ever. Loved Gallier House but it was our tour guide who went far beyond expectations.

Great Tour/Great Price - Getting a chance to step back in time in the French Quarter of New Orleans was a treat. This house was beautifully decorated in period furniture. The guide was informative and very friendly. If you want to see what life was like in the mid-1800's for a upper middle class family, this is a great tour at a great price. (It's also within walking distance in the French Quarter, so no need to drive or pay for a cab/Uber/Lyft.

Incredible Tour - Peter is the best! - This tour was one of the highlights of our time in New Orleans! The architectural details and the preservation of this house are exquisite. Our tour guide was Peter and he was absolutely fantastic - incredibly knowledgeable and patient with the groups many questions. Great delivery and was factual yet sensitive around the harder historical aspects of slavery. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Amazing intact historic house tour in the French Quarter - This was our first visit to the Gallier House. The house is largely as it was when first occupied in 1860 by Gallier Jr., who designed the house for his young family. We were lucky enough to get Peter as our host and guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging about the house and its links to the history of New Orleans. His presentation was very detailed. Our small group asked many questions which he thoughtfully fielded them all with aplomb. A great experience all the way around. Well worth your time when you are in the French Quarter.

Highlight of our trip - We did this tour on the same day as its sister property, the Hermann-Grima house, and it was really interesting to see them in contrast. Excellent tour guide and so important to hear about the experience of the enslaved residents. One of the highlights of our New Orleans trip.
