Ricardo rocks - Ricardo was FABULOUS!!!! The whole experience was great and the girls had the best time on their jet skis!! Highly recommend!!!

Exceptional Experience - This was better than expected from the Taxi ride through the Town to the driver and tge Jet Ski assistants. The experience is one of a kind. I can't say enough as the Jet Ski aaaistants were like personal one on one trainers. Thank you very much!

Not what expected, but ended up more than expected - This was our first time in Nassau. We were very happy with our experience with My Own Water Sports. We were a party of five. Rented two jet skis for the same 1/2 hour time slot. We planned to switch off riders so all 5 people could have a turn. The walking directions to the spot where we would find our transportation to the beach were clear. The van was there and waiting as scheduled. We paid for one extra person to ride along, since we technically paid for 4 transportations, which was totally fair to us. Driver was friendly. Told us right off the bat we were not going to Cabbage Beach. This was something I had heard could happen. Our plans for the day included hanging out on Cabbage Beach after jet skiing, so this was definitely not ideal. I probed a bit and it turns out they move locations for the entire season. The waves are just too strong at Cabbage Beach in the time of year we went, so they move to a little bay area where the water is calmer called Montagu Bay I do wish this was disclosed in the description because I would have planned our day differently. Once there, it was a quiet, clean little spot! Beautiful for photos. Palm trees and sand. No lounge chairs or vendors. A local spot, which I loved. There was a little pier they said we could swim and jump off and enjoy, and a building with really clean bathrooms! It happened to be a fairly windy day, and the water was on the chilly side, so nobody was up for swimming. Quick check-in process, and we were all set. The guy who helped us, David, was friendly and informative. Three in our party were teens who had never been jet skiing before, and David helped them figure it out and boost their confidence. Life jackets were in good shape, sized appropriately, and comfortable. I stayed on the beach while the others went out two each on two skis. The skis were in great shape. No issues at all with the crafts, they looked and felt brand new. The water was a bit choppy because it was so windy, but riding conditions were still fine. After a while, one of our skis came back to trade off so I could ride. My husband was planning to stay on the beach as I had done, but the owner called David over, and when David came back, he gave my husband another jet ski so all of us could go out together! At first my husband wondered if our stuff would be safe left out on the beach if we were all out, but he decided to take the chance. We had a blast all out on the waves together. The teens switched off who was driving. It was a blast. There were other patrons on the sand near us, and no vendors or locals we felt uneasy with. Plus the guys with My Own Water Sports were out there keeping an eye on things. Our belongings were fine. While I wouldn't recommend leaving stuff unattended on any public beach, this particular day and circumstances, it was totally fine. When I came out of the restroom building I heard a banging sound and looked to the right and saw it was a local fish market. Fishermen were there cleaning ther catch for market. It was super cool, and really surprised me how quiet and safe the little cove beach area was just right on the other side of the pier. Super fun to see some local life in action. When we were ready to go, we just gave David a ten minute heads up, and our ride back to the meeting spot was all set for us. We had a fantastic time, the company went out of their way to make it a great experience for us. We couldn't be happier. Thank you David and entire My Own Water Sports team!

A Great Experience! - Great communication and coordination. We had a fun time without the crowds. Equipment was well maintained and we were well taken care of.

Great time - Very accommodating. Great place to jet ski with the waves, lots of space and not too many people on the water. We went Christmas vacation and it was fine. Great to stay and lay out or swim after. Would recommend and plan to do again.

Actually 30 mins drive versus 1 hour duration advertisement - The jet ski activity was advertised as a 1-hour guided ride, but in reality the actual ride time was only about 30 minutes, with an additional 2–3 minutes spent on a short test ride before starting. This is a clear discrepancy between what was marketed and what was delivered. Furthermore, although the activities appeared under different company or agent names on Viator when we booked, they were all actually operated by the same company: “On My Own Water Sport.” This was not transparently disclosed, and it felt misleading since we believed we were booking with different vendors. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful. They picked up my husband and me at Señor Frog’s next to the British Colonial Hotel Resort and drove us to Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island for both parasailing and jet skiing. The transportation was smooth and appreciated. However, at the end of the 30-minute jet ski ride, the young male staff asked us directly for tips. We only had large bills, so we had to exchange $100 to break it into smaller bills just to tip. My recommendation for future travelers is to bring smaller bills for tipping, because staff are very straightforward about asking for tips at the end of the activity — even when the duration advertised was not accurate. It was also confusing because the Viator listing advertised 1 hour, but the ticket provided after booking showed only 30 minutes. This inconsistency is on the operator’s end and should be corrected for transparency. In addition, travelers should ensure the jet ski runs smoothly and at full speed before going far out. The jet ski we were given slowed down significantly after about 15 minutes and if is very LOUD , and I had to return to shore so the staff could fix it, which cut into our already short ride time. My advice to future guests: • Always confirm the true activity duration before booking or starting. • Always confirm pickup time and location, and clarify whether you are a cruise or non-cruise passenger, as the pickup spots differ. • Bring small bills for tipping. • Make sure the jet ski is working properly and fast before riding out. Overall, while the staff were friendly and transportation was well organized, the duration advertised, vendor transparency, and equipment quality did not match what was promised.

Jet skis - They cut out time short on the jet skis. We paid for an hour and they first pulled us in at 20 min. Then I had to find the receipt to prove I paid for an hour. Then they let us go back out and brought in at 45 min. The workers were very nice and accommodating. The van ride back home took a long time to arrive to pick us up.

tourist scam online booking trap - total rip off scam. we booked and confirmed one thing. they waited till the time of our appointment to tell us something completely different. wouldn't work with us then cancelled our activity with no refund. please believe all the negative reviews. i wish i did 😒
