Upon successful completion of the training, you will set sail on the most thrilling tour in Arizona! The Centipede Tour whisks you deep into the rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert, traversing steep canyons and scaling mountains for a mesmerizing experience. Boasting stunning vistas of the Bradshaw mountains and rich wildlife, the tour offers something to awe everyone! Your tour guide, a certified professional, will have vast knowledge in off-roading, local fauna and flora, historical trivia, and survival techniques.

Great tour! - Great tour, awesome views and our guide Jeff explained some interesting facts about the dessert plants and was always ready with cold water for us.

Fun times, with great guys! - The views were amazing! We took a lot of photos! Rob and Mike are very fun and amazing!
These guys make sure you're safe, hydrated, and comfortable all while having a great time! Communicates well and nicely even though they're working hard and long in extreme heat conditions! 10/10 highly recommend! Go have some fun on the atvs and utvs! Be sure to leave these awesome guys a tip!

Family fun! - This was a great adventure that was fun for the whole family. We laughed a lot, learned a lot, and made many memories with our kids. Definitely 10/10 recommend. Matt and Brennan were great guides.

Friendly and accomodating! - Rob and the team at Arizona Outdoor Fun did a great job. Especially when my wife was concerned she would not be able to operate the 4-wheeler by herself. They quickly offered to let us go with the group that was using the UTVs, which we were then able to go, with me driving and her as a passenger. We had a great time. Rob was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the trip awesome for us! Thanks so much!

Unforgettable UTV Adventure with the Best Guide – Maytan! - From start to finish, he made the entire experience unforgettable. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about the terrain and local history, but he also brings an energy and passion that turns an ordinary ride into a full-blown adventure.
Maytan was professional, funny, and genuinely cared about everyone’s comfort and safety. He had the perfect balance of thrill and mindfulness, always checking in to make sure we were having fun but never pushing beyond anyone’s limits. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he clearly loves what he does—it made the whole journey feel even more special.
Whether it was maneuvering through rugged trails, sharing fascinating facts about the area, or stopping at the most breathtaking viewpoints for photos, Maytan delivered on every level. It honestly felt like exploring with a good friend who just happened to be an expert off-roader.
I can’t recommend this experience—and Maytan—highly enough. If you’re lucky enough to get him as your guide, you’re in for the ride of a lifetime!

Great guide and nice trails - Hunter was great! Made sure everyone was comfortable and safe on their machine before heading out. What a beautiful ride! We were going to do the unguided tour, but the guided one was much longer. Definitely will be coming back next time we're in PHX!

10/10 UTV Tour - Sam really exceeded our expectations as a tour guide. We did the centipede guided UTV tour. Sam stopped the tour for photo opportunities, random fun facts about the Sanoran desert and so much more. He was hilarious and a ball of energy but also so professional. We felt safe the entire time which was really important to us. We’ll remember this experience forever.

UTV with Rich - Easily 5 stars for Rich—and if I could give more, I would!
We had the absolute privilege of doing a private sunrise tour with Rich, and it was hands-down one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Despite a light rain (which honestly made the whole experience better—no dust, no blazing sun), Rich brought the energy and knowledge like it was a blue-sky day.
From the start, he went above and beyond—taking us to bonus off-the-map locations, pointing out wildlife like jackrabbits and cattle, and teaching us all about the native desert plants. But this wasn’t just textbook info—Rich gave us live demonstrations, showing which plants are toxic, which are medicinal, and how locals have used them for generations. It was like a science, history, and survival class all in one.
What made it even more meaningful? Rich is military, and we’re deeply grateful for his service. It showed in his professionalism, humility, and leadership throughout the tour.
This wasn’t just a sightseeing trip—it was a full sensory, soul-filling experience with someone who clearly knows and loves the land. If you’re considering this tour, request Rich. Thank us later.

Excellent place! - There a many, many off road rental companies in the region and after much research, I decided on Arizona Outdoor Fun and I was not disappointed. The primary advantages I found, aside from the competitive (not necessarily cheapest) pricing were twofold: firstly, their minimum age for drivers is 16. This allowed two additional drivers in my group to enjoy (and boy, did they!). Secondly, their terrain seemed more challenging and exciting than other outfits, who even though may offer longer rental time, don't offer diverse terrain (from my investigating).
We chose the guided tour over the self-guided as the guided tour explore much more terrain than they allow the self-guided rentals to explore. The area for the self-guided tours is not exciting enough. Don't bother. The guided tour, led by the most excellent, patient and responsible guide, Erik, was great. My entire party of all ages (24 through 9) had a blast. There was approximately 1.5 hours of driving time and it was sufficient. All my kids got a thrill bumping and driving and taking great pictures. They provide googles and a dust mask which is a lifesaver (you will get VERY dusty).
If my kids would want to do it again, I'd use these guys. You won't go wrong.
