- Blue Mountains - Travel in a private luxury vehicle from Sydney to the Blue Mountains with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. This flexible itinerary focuses on appreciating nature and avoiding the busy tourist trails and traps of the Blue Mountains. Experience it via less-traveled roads to breathtaking, isolated vantage points. Enjoy spectacular walks to waterfalls at a pace, length, and difficulty that suits your group’s preferences. Visit charming mountain villages, indulge in great local food, and have the opportunity to see some of Australia’s most iconic animals like the kangaroo in the wild.
- Echo Point Lookout - Visit Echo Point, the most iconic landmark in the Blue Mountains. Here, enjoy splendid views of the amazing Jamison Valley and the Three Sisters. This unique and magical towering rock formation is a wondrous site that proudly overlooks the Jamison Valley. Revel in the Aboriginal Dreamtime stories about this location and the “Three Sisters” themselves.
- The Three Sisters - This unique and magical towering rock formation is a wondrous site that proudly overlooks the Jamison Valley. Revel in the Aboriginal Dreamtime stories about this location and the Three Sisters themselves.
- Blue Mountains National Park - The Blue Mountains is home to some of the best walking/hiking trails in Australia. Enjoy a walk in the Blue Mountains National Park, taking in tranquil waterfalls, temperate rainforests, and unique flora and fauna. All of the walks/hikes on our Blue Mountains tours are tailored to suit individual group fitness levels, and the duration and number of walks included will be tailored to your preferences.
- Wentworth Falls - Visit Wentworth Falls, known as one of the most stunning waterfalls in the Blue Mountains. This is where the Jamison Creek drops down over the escarpment and cascades almost 300m into a large pool. Wentworth Falls boasts incredible views, and while here, you have the option to take a guided walk and revel in the area’s rich Aboriginal culture.
- Leura Mall - Stop for lunch in the beautiful village of Leura. Lunch is at your own expense and will be at the venue of your choice. Recommendations will be provided based on your preferences. If you fancy a spot of shopping, you can browse the strip known as Leura Mall, home to many great fashion boutiques, homeware stores, restaurants, and superb coffee shops.
- Kings Tableland - Enjoy the views and discover the rich histories that embrace this part of Australia. Kings Tableland is essentially the remains of an eroded sandstone layer that sprawls out for around 1,000m just south of the cascading Wentworth Falls. The plateau was named for King George III by Governor Lachlan Macquarie, a pioneer in the colonization of Sydney. It is thought that Kings Tableland has been used as an Aboriginal gathering place for more than 14,000 years. Let your guide share with you the story of Australia’s Indigenous heritage at this sacred location.
- Govetts Leap - Stop at Govett’s Leap Lookout to take in the spectacular view across the Grose Valley. Govett’s Leap Lookout is one of the most famous lookouts in Australia. The magnificent waterfall drops a whopping 180m to the base of the cliff. The Blue Mountains is a true natural wilderness, a World Heritage Listed area ten times older than the Grand Canyon, and it can be truly appreciated from this vantage point.
- Anvil Rock - Blackheath - This is one of our favorite places to view the Blue Mountains from, offering magnificent views over the Grose Valley to Mount Banks and Mount Hay. There are very few tourists, and it offers almost 360-degree views with several waterfalls visible, especially after rain in the area.

Very satisfied - Chris did a good job catering to mom and 3 adult children with different athletic abilities. We feel we saw more with less hassle than if we had visited the Blue Mountains independently Hotel pick up and drop was nice. We were fortunate to very good weather

Must do trip if you really want to experience the Blue Mountains! - Chris picked us up from the Cruise port and after dropping our bags at the hotel we headed directly for the Blue Mountains. We enjoyed his deep knowledge of the area and engaging conversation. After a couple of days at sea, we really wanted to hike, and he was more than willing to oblige! Had a fantastic day hiking/walking in the Blue Mountains . Chris was flexible and crafted the day to avoid the crowds and really give us a lovely day. He also picked the hikes/walks to suit our abilities and allow us to enjoy the day to the fullest. At the end of the day I can say we were tired and very satisfied. Absolutely perfect day!!

Beautiful blue mountains tour - Wonderful tour and guide! We really enjoyed this tour and the visits to different viewing points and charming villages. The guide James even introduced us to Tim Tams and got us a package to take away and eat later. He was fun and knowledgeable and offered us many tips not pertaining to our tour, but our trip and that was much appreciated. Definitely a tour that I would recommend. Thanks James!

Wonderful Experience - We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to the Blue Mountains and felt like we maximized the opportunity with a hike in the Grand Canyon, lunch in Leura and short stops at the other key areas along the way. The service was exceptional throughout the entire process and our guide, James, shared information about the park as well as Sydney and the surrounding area, which was unexpected and extremely helpful for us.

Amazing day in the Blue Mountains - What an amazing day trip to the Blue Mountains from Sydney. From the minute Greg picked us up at our hotel, I knew we were going to have a great time. Greg was outgoing, fun, and full of information and cool stories and myths. We visited a few mountain towns, had a nice 1-2 hour hike and hit some amazing viewpoints, all of which were brilliantly away from the big tour buses. I would definitely recommend the tour and Cloud 9 to family and friend. I wish we would have booked the Hunter Valley trip as well for the next day too.

"BRILLIANT" - No real favourite as the whole day was wonderful. 1st stop Glenbrooke a very small town with a great atmosphere for coffee. Doing this trip with Greg, he took us to places you would otherwise overlook. Gregs knowledge of the history of the area plus first Nation people was great. We came back with a better understanding.
No hesitation in recommending is tour.
Thank you, you helped enjoy another side to Sydney

Brilliant tour company for private tours from Sydney. - We booked a private tour to the Blue Mountains from Sydney.
We wanted a private tour because we wished to tailor the tour to our needs.
Our family consists of two adults and two teenage boys, both of who are really into photography, bush walking and nature.
We booked the tour through James at Cloud 9 Tours, his communication was brilliant and he helped plan our trip to the Blue Mountains ahead of time which meant we were all organised and our guide had a good idea of what we wanted to see and do.
Our guides name was Greg he was fantastic so knowledgable, fun and made our day a special one to remember.
We all had the best day and we feel that he really showed us all the best parts of the Blue Mountains, we especially enjoyed the walk the falls it was so beautiful.
We were really happy with our options for lunch and loved the Old bank pub for lunch in Katoomba.
Scenic world was great and timed well, so that we missed the majority of the crowds.
We really had a brilliant day and we all got to take lots of beautiful photos.
We would definitely use Cloud 9 Tours again.

The bomb - We did two private, full day tours with James - Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains during our time in Sydney. There are a lot of tour options to these places but we would recommend Cloud 9 Tours hands down and would book another tour without hesitation. James was professional, punctual, generous, fun and personalized the tours for our preferences. The trips with James were highlights during our two week trip in Australia.
