- Brookfield Place - The premier shopping center in Lower Manhattan. Enjoy breathtaking views, impressive architecture, and palm trees. This building provided refuge for numerous survivors and first responders.
- America’s Response Monument - A tribute to the first soldiers deployed to the Middle East, which inspired the film “12 Strong.”

Highly recommended cultural activity - Jon is an excellent guide. He has very good knowledge of the topic and shares detailed information, not only about the history but also about the people involved. He is well-informed and uses digital materials to support his explanations. He is very professional, kind, and approachable. I highly recommend him! 🫶

Best tour & tour guide in NYC! - My friend and I had a tour with Jon, he was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable, outgoing and animated, even considerate - thinking to stop for a snack break and bathrooms!
Genuinely, would choose to tour with Jon or anyone from CityShuffles before checking out the bigger corps that put on tours. He was so knowledgeable and it wasn’t just a routine tour, he allows you to ask questions and shape the tour if that’s what you’re into.
If you’re visiting New York City I would add this tour or any other tour Jon and his team offer because it made our trip that much more interesting and enjoyable. So cool to be immersed in some of the history of the city!!

Best most informative 9/11 tour guide - Jon was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable, kind and easy going. He answered all our questions individually. He was entertaining, informative and professional. He’s passionate about the city and its history and is keen to assist you in any way to help better your trip!

Excellent tour! - Excellent tour given by John Gallagher. It was very informative with a personal touch, I thoroughly recommend! He took us to several 9/11 sights and added in some extra stops, including beautiful churches and Brookfield place.

9/11 memorial - Garrett was our tour guide and he was unreal … again!! My tour group returns to NYC every year, we always book Garrett, and he knocks it out of the park! Not many people more interesting than him.

Great tour, I would recommend it - It was my second tour with Jon, I only can say good things about this tour. The topic is hard, but the energy and the sensibility that Jon puts into the tour is incredible. Very well described, I would definitely recommend to book the tour with him! Plus a great photographer!!
