Harlem Heights and Valley - We had a very friendly and knowledgeable guide in William. He has a lot of historical knowledge and answered all of our questions. I was excited about Harlem and surprised by how diverse the architecture is in the neighborhoods... I'm already looking forward to Sunday, when I can attend a gospel mass.

Great thing to fi - This was a great tour, especially of the City on a Hill college. William our guide was magnificent. So friendly and knowledgeable. Could not recommend this experience more, for this tour or the Gospel singing experiences either.

From the gilded age to the Harlem Renaissance - Because he works at CCNY our guide, William, shared a lot of the school's history and was able to access interesting spaces, like the great hall. His expertisee spanned architecture, history and the lives of prominent, influential black residents of Harlem.

Multi culti in Harlem - It was a relaxing walk in which you get to know Harlem a bit better. History goes in waves. From prosperity to decline and then back to 'hip'. The residents also vary. The guide managed to weave this into the tour. It's definitely worth it if you want to know a little more about Harlem, its residents, the time African Americans came to the neighborhood and current developments.
