Hard Rock Cafe New York - Hard Rock Cafe never disappoints. Food was excellent, service was excellent and the atmosphere was great.

A Standout New York Welcome — Comfort Food, Big Vibes & Zero Regrets - After a long Sydney‑to‑New York haul and arriving far from my best, I needed a meal that would genuinely lift me — and Hard Rock Times Square delivered in every way. Even with the rain pouring outside and a crowd of people seeking both shelter and a solid feed, the wait time was completely fair, especially considering we had no booking. The line moved well, and the staff kept everything flowing with ease. And then came the steak. Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, exactly the kind of comforting, satisfying meal you hope for after a rough travel day. It ended up being the last proper meal I could enjoy for almost a week thanks to the infection that hit me — and honestly, I’m still grateful it was this one. If you’re not ordering medium, I don’t know how you’re doing it. The atmosphere inside was everything you expect from Hard Rock: bold, energetic, and packed with memorabilia that stops you mid‑stride. The collection here is next level, and wandering through it felt like a mini‑tour of music history. For us, Hard Rock pin collecting is a family tradition — a fun way to mark our map — so visiting this location felt extra special. From the vibe to the service to the food, this Hard Rock was a standout introduction to New York. A total show‑stopper. Loved every minute.

Must-see and always fantastic! - Right in the center of Times Square is the cafe where you have to go for a drink or dinner... An incredible atmosphere, joy, life, music in an extraordinary setting! I love it!❤️

Greg & Kathy’s Hard Rock Cafe NYC Experience. - The Hard Rock Cafe is an amazing chain of music theme restaurants that was founded in 1971 and operates in over 70 countries around the world. In addition, Hard Rock also consists of a plethora of casinos, hotels, memorabilia shops and museums. The restaurant is known for offering delicious American dishes, such as burgers and steaks and for its vibrant “Rock & Roll” atmosphere, due its collection and display of rock memorabilia such as costumes, guitars, and stellar photo imagery. In March of 2026, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe, specifically Hard Rock Cafe New York, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our dining experience!!! The staff at Hard Rock were very polite and welcoming. They warmly greeted us when we arrived, and quickly provided us with a very comfortable and spacious dining table. We were captivated by the restaurant’s vivacious and visually stunning atmosphere, which is largely derived from its impressive collection of rock and roll memorabilia displayed along its walls, and its background pop music videos which can be seen and heard from its multiple television sets. We enjoyed listening to the classic rock hits played by music bands, AC/DC & Aerosmith and loved viewing the memorabilia, such as the photo images of the “the Beatles” and the signature outfits worn by “Run DMC.” In additional to the great atmosphere, we would also like to acknowledge the wonderful service provided by our server, Grayson. Grayson was the consummate professional. He did a superb job on explaining the menu options, adeptly addressed our inquiries on the entrees that attracted our interest, and perfectly noted our meal selections. Grayson routinely checked back with us to offer any further assistance and to see that we were having a great experience. We thank Grayson for his great hospitality and kindness. Hard Rock is blessed to have him on their team. Last but certainly not least, my wife and I absolutely loved our meals. My wife ordered and enjoyed her “Cowboy Ribeye Steak & Mac & Cheese” entree while I ordered and enjoyed my “Baby Back Rib & Mashed Potato entree.” We found our meals well cooked, superbly seasoned and delightfully delicious!!! Another noteworthy aspect of Hard Rock New York is its location. Based in Manhattan, New York, in the heart of Times Square, it is conveniently located near numerous Broadway Theaters, movie theaters, clothing stores, the New York City subway and other famous attractions. Since Hard Rock New York is very popular and gets packed very quickly, reservations are highly recommended. My wife and I thank the staff at Hard Rock for providing a magnificent dining experience and encourage everyone to visit this outstanding restaurant!!!

Always a Winner - We love Hard Rock. The service is always exceptional and just a safe comfy environment. You know you get good drinks, in a great environment - either for if you are in for the evening or if its just a quick passing drink. We went in a couple of evenings while we were here,as the happy hour is great for the price for the location. Nyi was the server that looked after us most nights we were in. Ensured we always got served when we wanted a drink, always had time for a little chat, Big shout out to him, The food is reasonable too for the Happy Hour, however bring back the Tater Tots though, they were great. We also had been served by Bruno and Dale who were also very helpful and chatty. We had the Pretzel and nachos when we were in and it was plenty enough. We always sat at the bar after pounding the concrete pavements of NYC! There usually was always space for the two of us. The Rock Shop is nice to get a little gift to take with you after you have had enough to drink!

Great location, food was ok. - Went with a group as part of a school trip - good atmosphere. Food was ok but nothing really special, could have been due to limited set menu.

Disappointed - Overpriced and poor service waited over half hour for our booked table food was ok but nothing special beer and soft drinks where flat and we left a tip to reflect this and waiter got annoyed saying did we realise that it should be this amount so I told him he was lucky to get anything totally disappointed as it was my grandson's birthday and went there because we thought it would be special for him avoid if possible there are nicer more cheaper places to go in New York
