Fun tour - This is a fun little food tour of the Hell's Kitchen area in NYC. Alex was our tour guide, and he really made the experience enjoyable. He made the history come alive. The food menu was varies, and included a dessert stop. I would recommend this tour to visitors to NYC as well as those from New York. Chances are you'll hear something about the city you never knew!

A great tour and a great company - See my comments about the company below - but first about the tour: We have done a lot of food tours and this was easily among the top 20%. The high mark comes from a combination of the guide, the food, and the history. Cale was just great. He kept us cool (it was 100 degrees), kept us entertained, and got us informed about the past and present of Hell's Kitchen. The food was interesting, tasty, and plentiful. They keep the groups small - just 4 in ours but no more than 8. In all an excellent afternoon. About the company - We were only in town for 2 days and booked the Greenwich food tour for our second day. Early in the first day we realized that taking the tour on day 1 would be better for us so we called to see if we could switch. Turned out that no one had booked the Greenwich tour that day. But instead of just telling us that, the owner said he would check with his guides to see if he could get someone to do it. When that didn't work, he offered to let us join the Hell's Kitchen tour. That was really above and beyond. Kudos for superior customer service (not to mention the terrific tour).

Hell’s Kitchen with Cale - Cale was an amazing guide. He discussed both the history of Hell’s Kitchen and his own recent experiences here. We had an ongoing conversation the entire time. The food was amazing and my favorite was from cheeseboat. Highly recommend!

Great Eating and History on 9th Avenue - Tour leader was very knowledgeable about ethnic cuisine and the history of both Hell’s Kitchen in particular and New York City in general. The food was a very good sampling across cultures and included items that we really enjoyed, but would probably not have tried without a guide like Tim to introduce them to us. We rate both the food and his presentation highly. The staff at the five places we visited were also very friendly and helpful.

Chicken Tika Masala and the Irish Mafia. - All the good was delicious. The tour guide, Jake, was informative, friendly, and a good story teller. Not only will you taste incredible food, but you'll learn about the history of Hell's Kitchen and the Irish Mafia. That was the best part, next to the chicken Tika masala tacos. Pace yourself. There's alot of food.
