Easy, Smooth, and Well Organized - Overall, this experience was smooth and enjoyable. The instructions were clear, the process was well organized, and everything went as expected. It was a convenient and stress-free experience, and I appreciated how easy it was from start to finish. I would recommend it to others looking for something reliable and straightforward.

Fun on the Hudson - Fun time seeing Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty from the Hudson. Our guide Molly was great! I would recommend being early to get a limited seat if that is important to you.

Great tour, however scammed by scalpers at battery park BEWARE - Enjoyed the tour however was scammed at battery park when purchasing the tickets. Tickets online were 40% less than what we were charged by scalpers (in offical tour uniforms) at the park. As tourists, we didn’t know this at the time but realised when we viewed the website to review dispatch times. Boat was nice and well kept however lacked seating for everyone, probably so they could fit more people on the boat. Wouldn’t have minded standing if we hadn’t been scammed in the park. Really put a damper on the experience and is not in line was the hospitality we expect in nyc.

Charged double, lied to, do not fall for this scam! - Charged double that was on the website, lied to about bus back to Times Square. Got charged $120 for 2 of the freedom tours that would’ve cost $49 dollars on the website. Not only this but when buying the tickets I was told when we got back to the pier there would be a yellow bus waiting to go straight to time square, only to be told after paying and getting on the bus that the bus service wasn’t currently running but its was a 15 minute walk, it wasn’t, it was 30. I would like to be refunded the difference I got overcharged for but can’t see that happening and have no idea how I get the money back!! Do not fall for the hi-vis scam

Warning!!! - Hands off! Don't fall for this BS!!! They're lurking at the exit of the subway. Contrary to the touting hours of queuing, packed ship, food costs extra. Have been able to leave the boat in time after info to organizers. Lost a whole day of vacation, with toddler especially bitter. Complaint was brushed off. Hundreds of dollars are gone. It's terrifying that this has happened to many and completely incomprehensible that they are still allowed to do their mischief.

Scam company - Absolute scam. We were going to take the FREE Staten Island Ferry when aggressive people stopped us and pushed tickets saying they were selling for Big City Tourism. They were from Liberty Sightseeing. We were flat-out lied to about the price. We paid way more than the price shown later for the exact same tour. That is straight-up cheating tourists. I don't care if Liberty Sightseeing is a partner or not - they were selling under your name, and this looks intentional. These are classic bait-and-switch tactics. This is embarrassing for New York and disgusting for a tourism company. You are destroying your own reputation with this behavior.

SCAM - PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Got harassed the moment we got off the subway in Whitehall st south ferry by multiple staff members of Big city tourisms… Our initial plan was to go on the free Staten Island ferry however one of the seller was persistent that we would not get a good view of the statue of liberty unless we participated in their boat tour, I repeatedly said no and they would not leave us alone. Myself and my family members were left intimidated especially my 6 years old child after staff members got into a verbal altercation with each other in public (unsure what was the cause of argument) and while this was taking place, the seller insisted that the transaction was declined (he did not give me the receipt for this) and he proceeded to tap my card once again all whilst confidently ‘reassured’ me that I was not charged twice.. until I got to the queue for the bus to the pier, I received a notification of two pending charges from Big city tourism’s and informed the staff there straight away who told me to speak to the staff at the pier in order to get my refund. So I did this and was directed to another staff member who requested for my email address and said that she would pass it on to her boss and I would get a refund within 5 days… 22nd December and it has now been almost 2 weeks where I have still not recieved a refund or even communication from this poorly managed company. Boat tour was a rip off as we only stopped to see the Statue of Liberty for a short few minutes before heading back to the pier. Ridiculously long waits for the bus just to get on a boat and to go back to the original location and the staff are LIARS. They’ve clearly been coerced into scamming tourists. 10 emails sent and my bank will not process the refund of the double charges unless I get a response from them. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

AVOID THIS SCAM AT ALL COSTS! - Complete and total scam! The sales person said we wouldn’t be able to see the sights on the FREE Staten Island Ferry due to the fog but their boat goes closer to all the sites. She quoted us $39.99 for my wife and myself and kids were free. When I saw the receipt it included a $6 surcharge and over $125. When I asked her about it she quoted another number that still did not match what we were quoted and she said it was “tax.” You get on a bus after a long wait and then you are shuttled 20 min away and then wait again. DO NOT fall for this scam! The sales people look like officials with NYC. This scam needs to be shut down immediately!

major major scam, agressive men. - MAJOR Scam PLEASE Avoid Men in purple high-vis vests lied to us, claiming the FREE Staten Island Ferry wasn’t running properly and that we’d be stuck on Staten Island for 4 hours. This is completely false. We did not know this at the time it was our first day in New York, visiting from the UK. Sadly we agreed to go on the trip. They charged us $15 “child tickets” (we’re all 22), then dumped us into a queue of 50+ people. No bus arrived for 45+ minutes. Staff completely turned and became aggressive and intimidating when people asked questions. The family in front of us had already been waiting 2½ hours — one was pregnant and leaving NYC that afternoon — still being lied to. After over an hour, with 200 people waiting, a tiny 8-seat shuttle turned up. Total chaos. Refunds were “possible” only if you could find the original seller — who had conveniently vanished. I can’t express how agressive they became, shouting at these paying customers who are upset at being scammed. We left because it felt unsafe. We then took the FREE Staten Island Ferry, saw the Statue of Liberty with amazing views, and were back in 20 minutes. Ignore anyone in purple high-vis, don’t feel rude, you’re saving yourself. Total scam. Take the free ferry.
