Highly recommend Mandy. - Mandy Edgecombe was a great tour guide. It's not easy navigating the streets of lower Manhattan. But Mandy efficiently directed us around to many fascinating sites. All the while offering interesting historical information. We will want as a guide on her on other NYC tours.

Recommended for the native New Yorker - Among the buildings of lower Manhattan, there are still little hints of its interesting history. Mandy was awesome taking us around the streets and telling the group fascinating stories.

Best Guide in Manhattan! - Our tour guide knew her subject, brought her own pictures of relevant interesting things we would not have known of otherwise and interacted incredibly well with all of us.

Remnants of Dutch NY is a must do tour. Well researched and great delivery. - It was a very hot day, but I wasn’t going to miss the tour because of it. So glad I did it. Richard was the guide and it was obvious he had done research on the subject. We covered a lot of information and ground. What was so great was his enthusiasm for the time period and how much history and remnants are still around. People know about the Gilded Age but there’s not a lot of exposure for this time. Loved it.

New Yorker on a NY Tour - I'm a history buff and love exploring and learning about my own city whenever I can. This tour caught my eye from a New Yorker magazine article and it lived up to the recommendation. It was a hot day but the guide did her best to move us along through the shade and sun. So many interesting stories about early NY I never knew, fascinating period of our history as a country. And your downtown so plan to make a day of it after the tour!

Good info but a bit lackluster. - Hard to hear. So much background noise, even with the ear pieces. Interesting information but it wasn’t as concise or clear as we would have liked. Not enough time for everyone to see the pictures being passed around.
