• The Metropolitan Museum of Art - This interactive tour will last approximately two hours; you’re welcome to stay in the museum after the tour ends. We suggest that you wear sneakers or comfortable walking shoes–and brush up on your wizarding knowledge! Wizarding gear is always welcome, but wands must be small enough to stow away in a bag.

Join us for “Griffins, Goblets, and Gold,” an engaging ‘Magical Arts’ tour at the Metropolitan Museum, inspired by a beloved book series about magic and wizards. Discover areas and exhibits that may remind you of those in the books, from parts of a real castle to mythical creatures similar to those in the story. Participate in activities, explore the museum from a wizard’s viewpoint, and perhaps even perform a bit of magic. (Wearing suitable interactive wizard gear is encouraged.) Advance reservations are necessary. Please allocate two hours for your tour. Suitable for ages 8 and up.
