Wonderful even on a snowy day - We’ll run, the boat was lovely inside and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. The narrator was very knowledgeable, clear and very interesting, the time went quickly. We are already thinking about another trip. We already shared the information with several of our friends.

Great ride to see the architecture - We really enjoyed the is elegant boat tour of the city. The weather was awful so we’d like to do it again with some pleasant weather, but it was fun to see the water and the buildings and stay dry. The boat is old style pretty too so it was a nice experience.

Can’t wait to do this again! - We had such a wonderful experience! Our tour guide John, was incredibly knowledgeable. When he was asked questions about other places on the tour that he had not yet described, he was immediately able to provide a very thorough and detailed description. And the team on the boat servicing us were absolutely delightful! I would not hesitate to do this again and again. I was on this trip celebrating my birthday with my sister. It was so very special! Don’t hesitate to book this. You won’t regret it!

DO THIS TOUR if you want to be a SUPER STAR in your Group/Family!!!! - Oh my goodness, this was SOOOOO GOOD!!! Wait! It was SOOOOO GOOD only for those who LOVE Architecture, City/USA history, Interesting Stories, a beautiful location to relax in, yachts, a very fun, safe, friendly Crew & Captain and a super well-organized Speaker! Jenny (or Jennie) was AMAZING! Well spoken, kind, beyond informative, really easy to understand, and even in a bit of foggy weather, she and the Captain & Crew did everything in their power to make us feel welcomed, informed, happy and relaxed. GREAT for Couples, Groups, Team Outings, and Families (IF) you have a bit older kids - maybe upper elementary, middle and above - OR if you have an iPad/Movie Player to have your kids watch a 2+ hour movie. Super relaxing, so nice!!!! I mean, if you are finished with walking for a moment in time, while traveling OR, if you are genuinely interested in NYC Residential (some Commercial) Building aspects - this is THE WAY to do it!!!!! I would also recommend that every Real Estate Agent take this tour, if they haven't already! Worth your time!!!! LOVE it!!!! Did I mention the Captain and Crew are amazing, as was the Host/Speaker - Jenny (Jennie)? DO THIS!!!!! Relaxing and Informative Way to See the City - The Classic Harbor Line Architecture Boat Tour is a really enjoyable way to experience New York City from the water. The boat is comfortable and spacious, and the tour strikes a great balance between being informative and relaxing. The narration adds helpful context without feeling overwhelming, and the views of the skyline, bridges, and waterfront architecture are excellent throughout. It is especially nice on a hot day since the boat is air conditioned and offers a calm break from walking. A great option if you want to see the city from a different perspective and slow the pace for a bit.

It’s a “quiet tour” if people aren’t getting wasted and having loud conversations the entire time. - There are multiple signs on the tables saying it is a “quiet tour,” which is great and necessary—so long as your fellow passengers actually respect that. The scenery and guided tour of the architecture was fantastic. However, we had a hard time enjoying it. The passengers in the back occupying 4 tables were talking very loudly the entire time, absorbed in their own loud conversations, shouting across the tables, ordering multiple bottles of wine, and were reminded 4 times that it was a quiet tour. Unfortunately, they’d quiet down for a couple minutes before their chatter kicked back up to party volume. I couldn’t hear 75% of what the tour guide was saying. And it was difficult to enjoy the experience at the thought of so many obliviously rude people on the boat. So if you’re looking for a party boat, I’m sure there are plenty of other ones to pick from. If you’re looking for quiet intellectual enjoyment of Manhattan’s historic skyline, this is for you—as long as your fellow passengers are there for the same. The reason I’m docking my review is because one of the servers was just as loud at the tables she stopped at and even joined the folks in the back for a lengthy conversation as well. The crew should have given them one warning and told them “we will not sell you alcohol if you continue to be loud.” And they should have then cut them off. Instead they kept serving bottle after bottle. The crew should also make more of an effort to keep passengers talking at quiet volumes so everyone can enjoy.
