Fantastic Tour - We highly recommend the Private Guided Tour of the Met through New York Historical Tours. Kevin was professional, very knowledgeable, and friendly. We never could have seen nor learned so much on our own. Kevin also tailored the tour to cover some areas of interest to us as well. This is the best way to see the Met!

Our expectations were... - Our expectations were exceeded on every level. We brought our granddaughter to the Met for her first time. Our guide, Dan, did an amazing job thru out the tour making the experience accessible and awe inspiring.

Fabulous private tour hitting all the highlights - Jared was a fantastic guide with unbelievable knowledge not just on the artworks, etc in the museum but also on its history and his anecdotes re benefactors was fascinating. Can’t recommend enough. He even went overtime to ensure we saw all we wanted to. Request Jared for this private tour

Great private tour of the Met! - Bob was a great tour guide. He was communicative before the tour, was very interesting during the tour and listened to what we wanted to achieve during the tour and made sure he addressed those things.

Amazing way to see (or re-see) the Met!!! - What an amazing tour and experience! We have done many museum and walking tours before but typically overseas. We decided to hire NY Historical Tours for a trip to the Met on a whim and are we ever glad we did. We had been to the Met countless times over the years but going with Kevin opened our eyes to new perspectives. We saw new rooms we never knew existed and he made the history come alive. A very engaging experience and we would definitely hire him again.

Really great experience - I booked a tour through this company on the recommendation of a friend who did it last year. She hasn't stopped raving about the tour and her guide We had a different guide, but Dan was also fantastic. He started the tour by asking after our priorities and interests, and prioritized those areas, while sprinkling in some more general highlights. He was personable, friendly, and engaging, and we all learned a lot from him!

Highlights and Unknown Gems - Could not imagine navigating the Metropolitan Museum of Art without Kevin of New York Historical Tours. More than the famous highlights, we will remember those small gems that Kevin wonderfully discussed. Highly recommended !

Outstanding all around! - Outstanding! Kevin was well educated and articulate as he took us through the Met.
