Rachel is the best tour guide! - My daughter and I took this tour on a three day trip to NYC. What a great experience!! Out tour guide was Rachel and I would highly recommend her. She was very informative, fun, and kept us all engaged. I learned so much about New York. I thought she would just point out the sights like past tours I have been on but it was so much more. One thing I would do differently of take this tour on the first day of our next trip instead of the last. She gave recommendations on everything. Where to eat, where to get great deals, how to haggle, horse to avoid being hustled, horse to get on the Today show, she was a true goldmine of information. And she dispelled all my worries about traveling in NY. She convinced us how safe it was and emboldened us to take the subway. We wound up riding it four times before our night was over. It was cold and wet the day of our tour and I started to opt out but so glad I didn’t. Can’t wait to come back to Manhattan with my husband next time and retake the tour with Rachel and hopefully Juan too because he is a very safe driver. So worth the cost.

Surprisingly good experience. - I was skeptical at first because I thought it would be awful stuck in a hot bus with undesirable people and a bad tour guide, but it was far from it. Initially, our guide was running late due to a subway stoppage, but a substitute guide stepped in so the tour wouldn’t be delayed. The sub-guide was great and took us around until the main guide took over at Central Park. Our main guide was entertaining and highly knowledgeable about the history of each stop. Part of the tour will take you to the Staten Island ferry and will take you past the Statue of Liberty, but not directly to it. You will walk quite a bit and will not stay on the bus, so be prepared to move around. I think this tour was worth it and I would do it again.

Fantastic Overview of NYC in a Day – Highly Recommended (But Manage Statue of Liberty Expectations) - My son and I took the New York in One Day Guided Sightseeing Tour by USA Guided Tours New York, and it was the perfect way to explore the city, especially since it was his first time visiting NYC! We only had three days before he had to return to college, so this tour allowed us to see all the major landmarks efficiently while riding in a comfortable glass-ceiling van, which made sightseeing even better. What We Loved: 🏙️ Comprehensive Tour – We covered so many iconic locations in just one day, making this a great option for first-time visitors or those short on time. 🎤 Fantastic Guide – Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of great tips—not just about the landmarks but also about free things to do in NYC, which was really helpful. 🚐 Comfortable Ride – The glass-ceiling van was a great touch, allowing us to take in the sights while riding between stops. Why I Took Off One Star – Statue of Liberty Expectations The tour description mentions the Statue of Liberty, but I feel this part of the tour didn’t quite meet expectations. Rather than getting close to the statue, we took a quick and hectic ferry ride, where we briefly passed the Statue of Liberty from a distance. It was hard to get clear photos or videos because we were so far away. The ferry process also felt rushed, as we had to immediately re-board at the stop, and unfortunately, we missed the quick turnaround and had to wait for the next ferry. Friendly Recommendation for the Tour Company: I’d suggest adjusting the tour description so that guests know they’ll see the Statue of Liberty from a ferry ride at a distance, rather than expecting an up-close experience. This would help manage expectations while still allowing guests to enjoy all the other incredible stops on the tour. Overall Recommendation: Even with the Statue of Liberty being a minor letdown, I still highly recommend this tour! It’s well-organized, informative, and a fantastic way to see New York City in a short time. If you’re a first-time visitor or only have a few days in NYC, this is one of the best ways to make the most of your time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great tour, rude guide - The trip was amazing however, Gil our guide, was rude several times during the tour. He yelled at several adults for using the bathroom because it wasnt a “bathroom break”. He also yelled at a boy, who was obviously autistic for having headphones on & not listening to him. Lastly he was yelling at the bus driver & said he would never work with him again! These episodes caused great discomfort for the group.

Not a Good experience at all - In my view this tour is for the first time NY visitors only and that too who’s visiting from outside of US and not much aware of US streets. NY is very much public transport friendly, you can cover almost every major spots by subways and other transport. Talking about the tour now: They only took us to the Central Park entrance. Moreover they DO NOT covered 9/11 museum (inside) and just allowed 10-15 min to click the photos at the memorial pool area, they also didn’t cover Statue of Liberty (Elis island) we just did a ferry tour with far view of the statue and the ferry tour itself was horrible and over crowded. Only good thing about this tour is the tour guide who was highly knowledgeable with lot of local NY information and was continuously sharing the history of NY. And also, the bus was good, and the complementary water bottle they offered.

Denied - My husband and I booked round trip from the airport to resort and from resort back to airport, when I booked they said they had to use 2 different companies. We had no issues with the trip from the airport to resort, but I did when it came from resort to the airport. We paid $105 for complete round trip between the 2 companies. *Driver was 20 minutes late. *We were told we needed to pay 550 pesos above and beyond what we already paid (which I was thought was a mistake). *The driver kept following us around the airport insisting we paid him. We were rushed bc we was already late getting to the airport. I told my husband to just give him a debit card and pay it, the driver said he didn’t take cards. My husband only had $100 bill, the driver said he didn’t have change….the entire time this guy is following us around. My husband found a money exchange (which we had to pay a fee for that) and paid the guy so we could get to our flight. Not only was I very upset about this, we was also embarrassed. I filed a complaint already with Viator and a refund was denied. I’m asking one more time for a refund or I will have no choice but to file a formal complaint with the BBB. THANK YOU! Sheila Wagner
