The boat is docked behind the building at Pier 36 and can be accessed by walking round the North End of the building - near the Fire Department.
The boat, operated by “NY Skyline”, can be found at Slip 6. Check in with the NY Skyline Staff who will be wearing red “NY Skyline” shirts

Awesome boat and tour - Loved every minute od this, sunset was beautiful but after dark was stunning. I would do again and again. I would say the bar line was very long, so i skipped that for the views.

Super Duper Wind didn't stop me for my Boat Adventure - It was SUPER DUPER WINDY! But arriving to the check in area was a little bit confusing (I think because of the wind, on where to go). After I got into a proper line and got on the boat everything went smoothly. Omg this has been one of my favorite things to do on my trip. Seeing the skyline with the sunset was a great choice! Make sure to book at 4pm (hope it's not windy). I think our guide was name Sally and she did an amazing explaining. Her humor was on point!! I was outside seeing the view and watching the sunset! I had the chance to see statue 🗽 up close! Rest of my viewing was inside to be warm and seeing the nighttime view!! I love it when the nighttime is set and the skyscrapers lights up! Thanks for experience on my first time in New York City!! I will be back!!

Best view of the city - My mom, daughter and myself absolutely loved this tour! Seeing the NYC skyline all lit up is a must do. It was freezing the night we went but we sat inside and still had the best view of all the sights and were able to stay warm. I would definitely do this again.

Tourist - It was a very good tour and the crew was amazing. Didnt try the food or drinks. The only complaint is (from what I saw) you had the choice to upgrade to premium or vip (different levels) on the boat, not beforehand. The bottom was not very organized, but you could walk out to the outside at any time and it was an amazing view of everything, no matter where you stood. I would recommend this to anyone.

Get all the details. - There is no seating on the boat! It wasn’t a huge deal but it would have been nice to know before hand.
Also our trip did not go over to the Brooklyn Bridge at all. It only went down to the Statue of Liberty and straight back.
It felt a little deceiving because the route is advertised differently than what we actually did.
Also the cost at the pier was considerably less. We payed $44 through Viator but they were only $28 when we got there.

Read the tour description before booking otherwise you will NOT be responded to. - This is NOT a night tour. Inacurate advertisement. Company will not answer the phone or reply to emails. Staff is not welcoming. Only the VIP section has clean windows. The bottom deck for general admission has very dirty windows which do not help when trying to take pictures. Tripped on an uneven floor with no safety sign. Tour narrator was nice.

Took my money, didn't get my cruise. - Booked this through Viator. The Manhattan Skyline Cruise Co never received payment for Viator. I called Viator 40 minutes before the cruise and the customer rep was unable to assist me so I had to book the cruise directly through the cruise company, meaning I had to double pay. Working with Viator to hopefully get a refund.

Poor communication - Booked a New Years Eve river cruise for our family including two children. Arrived to be informed by other families that it wasn’t going ahead. No update, no apology and am now attempting to claim a refund.

Poor communication, no cruise happened. - We arrived half an hour before the time scheduled to be told they had cancelled the cruise. No email, no phone call, no text. I had planned this evening with a restaurant booked for dinner afterwards and then on to times square. Im disappointed to say the least. Some form of communication would have been great and now I have to fight for a refund because the company havent put on the system that its been cancelled.
