Thousand Island Park - Embark on an unforgettable journey starting from the vibrant New York City, specifically from The Hampton Inn, Times Square South. The adventure takes us north to the Thousand Islands region near the Canadian border, where we’ll board a ship for a unique cruise on the Saint-Lorraine River. Marvel at the sight of some of the 1800 islands, featuring a blend of natural beauty and grand mansions, palaces, and castles. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the lush landscape as we sail along the river, soaking in its serene beauty. In the evening, we’ll reach our hotel in the charming town of Watertown.
Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls - Today, we journey west along the Canadian border to witness the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls. We’ll experience the falls from both the American and Canadian perspectives before embarking on an exhilarating boat ride to feel the powerful cascade above us. (Apr - Oct). During winter, we’ll explore the “Journey Behind the Falls,” a magical experience behind the falls themselves. After visiting the floral clock, we’ll check into our hotel for a brief rest before heading out for an evening tour of “Goat Island.” Here, you’ll witness the spectacular sight of Niagara Falls, with millions of liters of water cascading from the “Horseshoe” and “Bride’s Tomb” waterfalls, illuminated by spotlights and a fireworks display. Finally, we’ll retire to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Watkins Glen / Finger Lakes
Watkins Glen State Park - This morning, we travel south through the enchanting Finger Lakes region, surrounded by wineries, vineyards, and stunning views of the Appalachian Mountains. We’ll explore the picturesque, rejuvenating scenery along Seneca Lake to Watkins Glen Canyon, with its breathtaking waterfalls. We’ll enjoy a leisurely hike through the gorges before continuing along the scenic route through New York and Pennsylvania, where we’ll settle down for the night.
Washington DC
Washington DC - Our engaging tour of Washington, D.C. promises to be an unforgettable experience. The first stop is the Lincoln Memorial, featuring an iconic statue of the 16th president overlooking the city. You’ll learn about the memorial’s history and the symbolism behind its design. Next, we’ll visit the Vietnam War Memorial and Korean War Memorial, where visitors can pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives for their country. Afterward, we’ll explore the National Mall and its many renowned landmarks, including the Smithsonian Museums, Washington Monument, and Reflecting Pool. Then, we’ll visit the iconic White House, the residence of US presidents and perhaps the most famous home in the nation. To conclude our day, we’ll explore the Capitol building, admiring its impressive architecture and the rich history of the nation’s capital.
Amish Country, Hershey, Philadelphia
Amish Country - Today promises to be a memorable day as the group visits the beautiful Amish Country. You’ll learn about the Amish lifestyle and culture, and even have the opportunity to sample traditional foods. We’ll also explore renowned Amish markets, where you can shop for handmade crafts and browse a wide array of unique cultural items.
Liberty Bell Center - Next, our journey takes us to Philadelphia, the “City of Brotherly Love.” You’ll have the chance to run up the famous Rocky Steps, visit the iconic Liberty Bell, and admire the grandeur of City Hall. In the evening, we’ll return to New York City, where we’ll spend our final day exploring the city’s famous attractions.
New York - Manhattan
Central Park - We begin our day with a stroll through Strawberry Fields into Central Park.
Fifth Avenue - We continue to Fifth Avenue, passing through Museum Mile and onto the lively and bustling Rockefeller Center.
Wall Street - We head south through Herald Square and Union Square, past the East and Greenwich Village, and through Soho to the Financial District.
Battery Park City - We’ll board a ferry for a cruise through the bay, offering stunning views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.
World Trade Center’s Liberty Park - Visit the impressive new World Trade Center and witness the poignant memorial for the victims of the 9/11 attack in 2001.
