As one of the pioneering experiences in New York, this artistic opportunity allows participants to craft their own resin artwork. Whether you’re a visitor looking to create a unique memento of your trip or a local artist eager to explore a new medium, this experience promises to be rewarding. Unleash your creativity with guidance from an expert, suitable for both beginners and seasoned artists. It’s an ideal gift, birthday celebration, or date night activity. A fun and very interesting art project - This class was a birthday gift for my wife. The class was held in a studio owned by Clay who was very gracious, accommodating, friendly and helpful. I have little artistic ability but really enjoy art and especially enjoyed this class. He taught us the process of making resin artwork and gave us many options for our unique designs. We each chose which silicone molds we wanted to use for our designs, and also the colors, pigments and dyes. Because the process of creating the artwork can produce odors, we wore respirator masks as a safety precaution. We spent an hour and a half in the class. My designs were completely different from my wife’s which added to the experience. The finished pieces need 2 - 3 days to fully dry, so they will be shipped to us. I highly recommend this class and plan to return very soon.

A Great Birthday Gift - What a great experience! Creating with resin was on my wish list and Clay’s workshop exceeded my expectations. First we choose what we could make…a plate, box, coasters etc. Then a multitude of pigments, color drops and paint. We mixed, we dabbled with sticks, toothpicks and even a heat gun. Wow and we were done. We left our creation to dry. I can’t wait to get the package in the mail. I plan to return.

Exceptional Art opp - This is an intimate, almost individualized lesson. Clay is a successful artist with amazing credits. He cares about your success. His studio immerses you into his world. He is friendly and patient. This was an ultimate experience. Having been to New York on my 15th trip, I can say I truly felt immersed in authentic New York vibe. Treat yourself to creating and bringing home a piece of artistic Big Apple.

First time working with... - First time working with resin, the instructor is very nice and helpful, and guided me through the entire process to make sure I turn what I imagined into reality. I love the final outcome so much and had a lot of fun!

Perfect experience! - Perfect experience! Part of a girls trip with my young adult daughter. Clay was so welcoming and a great instructor plus so encouraging in our beginner work on resin. After two very busy NYC sightseeing days it was perfect to relax in a beautiful art studio and connect with making - at least trying to - something beautiful.

Best NYC Art Experience! - Working with a professional, working artist in Soho and learning his art form was such an incredible treat. Clay is knowledgeable and friendly, and shared his expertise to make this art form feel accessible and really fun. The class itself was fantastic and I loved the finished product. I made a jewelry tray and it came wrapped so beautifully I felt like I was receiving a gift! If you’re looking for a truly unique experience definitely check this out!

Warning- You’ll have a blast! - Clay is an excellent, smart, warm, collaborative, patient and sincerely wonderful teacher. He explained the science behind the project, and had several creative methods up his sleeve to accomplish my idea. I recommend any and all art classes with Clay- a perfect creative break for a family, couples or solo travelers! It’s so much fun!

The Coolest Art Class in NYC - I had a great time at this class, I learned something new, and I made a cool piece of art that I can hang on my wall! Clay is a wonderful instructor: very informative, approachable and explained the process of using resin in such a way that made it easy to understand. The class was well paced and Clay really spent his time explaining things. I do have an art background and was always intimidated by resin, but wanted to explore it as a medium and Clay taught in a way that anyone could really use resin to create a beautiful piece. No prior art background necessary.
The part I liked the best was being able to make something unique. There are many art classes out there, but they often consist of making something pre-fabricated and uninteresting. In this class you will make something unique that no one else has and that is of great value.
