If you like history, Stalina is excellent! - We opted for the 4 hour experience but ended up leaving on an earlier shuttle from Ellis Island back to Battery Park. Once we made the reservation, we received emails and texts with good directions to the meeting location. In front of Starbucks. Our tour guide was Stalina Huarcaya. Wow, she was so knowledgeable with history and was a great storyteller. She shared her own journey as an immigrant from Peru. She was great describing the experiences of immigrants leaving their home to escape persecution, poverty, and war. We had a group from France and we and a mom/daughter pair from Illinois who were very nice. Seeing Lady Liberty was so moving and she really is a beautiful symbol of freedom and equality. Stalina did the tour in English but also translated in French. She also speaks Spanish and Italian. Seeing Lady Liberty was amazing. The Ellis Island portion was interesting and the stories of many immigrants really gives you a perspective that it was a rough beginning for so many. But my hubby was ready to leave so we only stayed at Ellis for 1/2 hr. Thank you to Stalina. It's so great when people are passionate and enjoy their job.

Statue of Liberty - Great guide who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our guide advised us where to be on the ferry for the best photos and even took photos of the groups in the tour. He also helped us to find the area we needed on Ellis Island to research relatives

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour Experience - We enjoyed this tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The tour guide, Sergio, was amazing. Not only providing great info on the history, but to go back and forth speaking Spanish to some guests and English to other guests without missing a beat was quite impressive. It was chaos at the Ferrys and Sergio did an amazing job getting us through security check and onto the boats. We never felt lost (just follow the green flag). Thanks again for the great experience.

I took my grandchildren... - I took my grandchildren on this tour. It was educational and a wonderful experience. The tour guide shared lots of information. I was VERY disappointed to learn that we needed separate tickets to go on the platform and up into the statute. Viator should let customers know that these tickets are needed and how to get them.

Poor customer service - My husband became ill on the day of our reservation. They wouldn’t allow us a transfer of the date. We had to forfeit the price we paid for the tour.
