Go somewhere else for a nicer experience - Staff is not the most friendly ever except for the tour guide. The quality of the voiceover/speaker system from the ferry was very atrocious. Additionally, we have to download an app just to get the tickets for the ferry ride. The website/app does also not clearly state where we go to catch the Ferry. If you put “Liberty Cruise” on Apple Maps it will lead you to the middle of manhattan. After 10 minutes of rummaging through the website we found the Pier it was on. (FYI its Pier 40). We ran literally 1 minute late and the staff did not let us get onboard saying there is nothing they can do as we literally stood watching them lift the plank to get in the boat. They did at least let us get on the following boat ride 30 minutes. The only reason this gets a two star instead of zero is because it got the job done. We got great pictures of the New York skyline and Statue of Liberty. However, I am sure you will be able to find better ferry boat tour elsewhere.

Scam - All Attractions City Tours (Liberty Cruise + Double Decker Bus Ride) - Yesterday, my family and I visited the Statue of Liberty. We were approached by individuals near the entrance who sold us tickets at approximately 4:00 PM. We were charged $236 for four people, with the understanding that this included a Liberty Cruise and a round-trip Double Decker Bus tour to and from Pier 40. It was not made clear at the time of purchase that the cruise only offered views of the Statue of Liberty from a distance, and did not include access to Liberty Island. We were only informed of the separate, required cruise for island access on our return journey. Subsequently, we attempted to utilize the Double Decker Bus portion of our tickets. Despite being told the service operated until 11:59 PM and included round-trip transportation to Pier 40, we were asked to disembark at Times Square and advised to return to the pier by subway. Furthermore, we were denied boarding on multiple subsequent Double Decker buses, as we were informed that their service concluded at 5:30 PM and did not include night rides. This experience was particularly distressing due to the presence of an unwell child. The discrepancy between the services advertised and those provided constitutes fraud and unethical business practices. I intend to report this incident to the relevant authorities to prevent further victimization of tourists. I am deeply concerned about the number of families affected by this scam. This level of deception is unacceptable and undermines the experience of visiting a national landmark. The ticket number is 498410768374001.

Statue of Liberty Tour - Over charged and under delivered .I would not recommend this outfit . We got stuck sitting inside because we didn't have a premium ticket ( upcharge $20 ) nothing mentioned when we purchased tickets. The boat was also over sold with people blocking the insiders view by standing outside. Buyer beware of roving salespeople on streets.

Avoid at all costs! - This is a complete rip off. Do not book it. Price not what they said it was and then expected to pay to upgrade to get a seat outside. I am raging. Not honest people. Avoid at all costs.

Total rip off. - This was an absolute sham. We were looking to board the free ferry but were pounced on by guys in purple on the approach. We were told that a free ferry would take too long as long queues either end and wouldn’t give us the views. We were pressured into using Liberty Cruises, along with other unsuspecting souls. They told us the cost was $38 but we were charged $59. We then endured a hike away from the ferries and put on a bus much further up the road. We got off the bus at Port 40. There was no-one to meet us. By the time we arrived at the boat, we were told the next boat would be leaving at 5pm, nearly 1 hr 20 mins later. No-one explained that we would have a bus ride or the times of the boats. We attempted to call the company but there was no answer. I would NOT recommend using this company.

Absolute rip off - STAY AWAY. $250 for 4 of us. We were told it would be an hour long cruise. Had to transfer by bus - wait time for this alone was nearly an hour. Packed boat, more waiting, unfriendly, unhelpful staff. Terrible experience. Nothing good to say about these guys.

The men in red - Shabby company with more than questionable business practices...the people in red you see on the streets of New York flyers in hand and big mouth open, don't answer them otherwise you're going to have great disappointments. They even managed to make us believe that the municipal ferry didn't pass by the statue of liberty and that we couldn't take it anyway...and as by chance more internet to check the info..of the to believe that they use a jammer, it's possible..no tariff announcement and take you the credit card for a so-called deposit and charge you a much higher amount... They are strong these ricins!!! Don't trust them This is a scam.

Run away! Big con! - Huge scam! People accosted us at the exit of the subway and made us believe that it was the official website to access the Statue of Liberty. They announced a price and took our credit card to pay. When they gave us the ticket, we had paid a lot more than advertised. In fact, it’s just a short boat ride. We were led to believe that it was not possible to access the Statue of Liberty. A very big scam to flee!!! very dishonest people!

AVOID - AVOID - AVOID - AVOID THIS SCAM!! We arrived at 10:45, the red coat guy said that if we want to go on the next cruise we have to be quick as is starts at 11am. Rushed us through to pay (added on more, my fault for not checking) $260 for 2 adults and 2 children. Once paid we were told to go and wait at a bus stop, the bus took us to pier 40. when we arrived we were told the next tour was at 12:30!!!! We had to wait over an hour in below zero conditions with. there are no representatives at the pier until the boat arrives. The boat was over crowded and a real rust bucket, we sat at the front and my children couldn't see a thing as we were sat down and people crowded the front of the boat. Avoid if you get motion sickness / seasick as you're sat on a rocking boar for about 20 mins while they prepare to leave. THIS IS AN ABSLOUTE SCAM AND OUTRAGEOUS THE CITY OF NY LETS THESE PEOPLE OPERATE
