The Magic and Majesty of New York City - My sister and I participated in the Top of the Rock Observation Deck and Lift VIP experience on February 14, 2026. When we enter the building, we were greeted by Shaniya who graciously gave us clear directions about the experience. Robin, our customer service agent was very professional, knowledgeable and kind as she responded to our inquiries and needs. Cameron, our congenial, well informed and welcoming tour guide made the overall experience fun and unforgettable! I highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys history, art and an abundance of scenic views.

Great experience. - We had a VIP tour pass. Well worth the extra costs. Priority at queues for the lift. Photos were included throughout, one to one guide who was lovely and knowledgeable.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable VIP Experience – Worth Every Penny! - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable VIP Experience – Worth Every Penny! We booked the Top of the Rock VIP Tickets with Skylift and The Beam Experience, and honestly, it was one of the highlights of our entire trip to New York. From start to finish, the experience felt really special. The VIP access meant we skipped the queues, which saved loads of time and made everything feel relaxed and stress-free. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel really well looked after. The Skylift was incredible – such a unique way to see the city and a real adrenaline rush while still feeling very safe. The views were absolutely breathtaking and gave you a completely different perspective of the skyline. The Beam Experience was so much fun and made for amazing photos – such a brilliant nod to the iconic construction worker photo. It’s one of those “you have to do it” moments while you’re in NYC. And of course, Top of the Rock itself is just spectacular. The views of the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the whole Manhattan skyline are unbeatable, especially if you time it near sunset. If you’re thinking about doing this – do it. The VIP package really elevates the whole experience and makes it feel extra special. We’ll remember it forever! Highly recommended! 🌆✨

Amazing experience. - I really enjoyed this trip - plenty to see out over the cityscape and a new vista through each and every window. The Beam experience was very cool, and I'd recommend, because you're there already so why not?

VIP Top of the Rock - I debated on going on this - glad I did. The experience was well worth it. The VIP best to skip the lines, get personal photos.

Once in a lifetime experience for our family….caution using 3rd party - Overall it was a once in a lifetime experience for our family. My boys loved the experience!! The Rockefeller staff was top notch and I highly recommend the VIP tour. We almost didn’t get to have this experience. When we went to print out tickets(required) the staff said that our time was sold out and that Viator(3rd party) had a glitch in the system and issued vouchers which was not clear to the consumer. Even though we were charged and no where it said “voucher”. Thankfully Matthew our VIP tour guide made it all work as he didn’t want us to miss the opportunity since we couldn’t do it at a later time. Not sure if it was Viator or Rockefeller but it does caution me to use a 3rd party next time.

BEWARE Beam photos are not included! - Having visited the top of the rock on multiple previous occasions and having an enjoyable experience, with the addition of the beam we decided to visit again this year to try and recreate that iconic photograph and this is in effect how this attraction is promoted so it's a fair assumption that you'd get that photograph with the experience. How wrong could I have been? We booked the premium tickets on the official website and paid the $25 extra for the Beam. It was very busy on the night we went and slightly chaotic but it was December time so kind of expected it. When we got to the beam, we were informed that no phones or cameras were allowed on the attraction which I kind of understood as I guess they don't want people dropping them so onto the beam we went strapping ourselves in using the lap belt and picking up a couple of props (hammer and spanner) beforehand to add something extra for that iconic photo which would be taken of us. As we went the 12 feet or so in the air we're informed when the first photo would be taken and then when the next photo would be taken and then within 30 seconds or so we're back on the ground. Job done. We scan the card we were given with the QR code on it to get access to our photos and bingo!! They came up but all were blanked out and that when I saw the option to purchase the photos for $75. Yes that's right, six digital photos which were probably very much the same for $75. The worst thing was apart from having to buy them in the first place was that there wasn't even an option to buy just one. I couldn't believe we'd had 30 seconds off the ground and nothing to show for it and it wasnt even as it anyone else could have taken a photo for us as we were a couple and the staff didn't offer to do it but either way from the ground you wouldn't be able to recreate that iconic shot anyway. We felt completely ripped off and misled because I didn't see anything on the website when I purchased the ticket to say that photos were not included so if you are going to pay for this attraction, be ready to fork out another $75 if you want a memento of your experience. Poor show from the rockefella centre with this one I'm afraid.

Do not book Viator tickets book direct with Rockefeller - Do NOT book this experience via Viator, we arrived at our allotted time only to discover that the Viator tickets had not been booked on, the VIP lounge was full of other travellers with the same issue. After a lot of arguing we finally got out into a tour 2 hours later than originally booked. Whilst the beam etc was brilliant, it was really ruined by the issue with the tickets.
