Glentanner High Country Heli Hike with Brian - The hike with Brian was truly delightful and fascinating. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable, and he shared so many wonderful insights about nature, the economy in New Zealand, and much more. On top of that, he is such a warm, kind, and friendly person. Thank you so much, Brian! 😊

Fantastic helicopter ride and Nature Hike - This was one of our highlights ourr trip to New Zealand. The helicopter ride gave you fantastic views of the area that you can't get from the ground. The mountains and lake were magnificent. But the real treat was the walk with Brian. He was so knowledgeable on the history of the land, the vegetation, the wildlife and the issues of managing the eco system in NZ. We got to explore the home of a 1970's scientist in the area and see picture of the current family who manages the sheep farm. It was a very personable and fabulous trip. Highly recommend.

Brilliant day in the mountains. - We couldn’t have asked for a more informative and enthusiastic guide as Brian was. He gave us an extremely enjoyable day in the mountains with many interesting bits of knowledge on the local plants together with a history of the area in general and Glentanner specifically. Thanks again for a fantastic day Brian.

WOW! - We went heli hiking on the most gorgeous day. The flight was very cool and the trip down the mountain with our guide Brian was great. We saw beautiful landscapes, wild tahr( Himalayan mountain goats) and learned so much about the area geology, fauna and flora. Brian is an encyclopedia of local knowledge.

An essential tour - Spectacular walk with the best guide. What an amazing experience! Brian took us to the Heli Hike High Country yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. The helicopter flight over Lake Pukaki and the mountains was breathtaking, and the hike itself was unforgettable. Brian is a friendly and fun New Yorker; he shared a lot of interesting facts about the geology, fauna and history of the area and also about all of New Zealand Made the experience relaxed and enjoyable The scenery is breathtaking and Brian’s enthusiasm for the region is infectious. This is a must-see activity in the Mackenzie region. Highly recommended! Thanks for an amazing day, Brian!

Great day exploring Glentanner and learning about the region’s history - Great half a day spent outside enjoying the view and learning more about the region. Brian is informative, friendly and was able to engage with individuals as well as the group at large. Prior to our high Brian had excellent communication (there were some moving parts due to weather and meeting participant numbers) however we were kept informed every step of the way. I would recommend the Glentanner High Country Heli Hike for anyone looking to explore the region further and learn more about the history of Glentanner.

Breathtaking views from helicopter - My friend and I recently stayed a few nights at the Glentanner Holiday Park. Whilst there, we went on the heli hike with guide Brian. After waiting for some cloud to lift, we had the most amazing helicopter flight, albeit short, and had the good fortune to see some Tahr running down the steep valley cliffs. Brian's knowledge of the farm's history and of the geology (which I personally love) made for an interesting hike. Highly recommended.
