Fun excursion - This was a lovely excursion and Ella the guide was wonderful. Beautiful drive near the coast and got to see a lot of beautiful homes plus visited the Elms. Highly recommend.

Mansions, scenic coastline, ghost stories - all on one trip - This was the best trip of our holiday. It was our first time also booking non cruise line trips. Thoroughly recommend being brave and using trip advisor for all excursions. Our driver and guide was fabulous. Great value for money, only 5 of us on the trip. Her smaller mini bus was able to take us down roads that the larger 50+ coaches couldn’t.

Don’t miss this tour! - Madam Ella Rose was the best tour director you could ask for. She could not only drive the van through the streets of Newport but while doing so recite fun facts and tell historical stories.

A superb value tour of Newport with entertaining commentary. - This was with a fairly new start up company and as such, it was a little difficult to find the meeting place. However, we eventually found someone who knew which stop to wait at and, sure enough, a small bus arrived and we met our enthusiastic and brilliant guide, Lady Ella Rose, in full Gilded Age costume. There were only about eight of us and the commentary was informative and interesting as we toured the local area. The highlight of the tour was a stop at The Elms mansion for a sufficient length of time to use our included tickets for a self guided tour. We were off a cruise ship and this tour was a fraction of the price of similar tours organised b the ship and, due the the small group, I dare say it was much better, certainly better value. Highly recommended.

Newport Guilded Age tour - Loved this tour! Our guide, Lady Ella Rose was so much fun and very knowledgeable on the area. We saw so many mansions along the drive and also stopped at the beach. She gave us tips on where to shop & dine afterwards. Would go on this tour again.

Hop On The Fun Bus! - Hop on the fun bus with Lady Ella Rose and let her take you on a Historic and Scenic Tour through Newport, RI! She is knowledgeable, witty and engaging. You will see all the beautiful mansions, learn their history and tour the beautiful Elms House and gardens. The group sizes and bus are smaller and more personal. In addition Lady Ella Rose has many recommendations for other activities, shopping and all the best places to eat, like Wally’s Wieners!

Better than Breakers!!! - We had an excellent tour of Newport with our great driver/guide Madame Rose Belle and plenty of time for visiting The Elms. We’ve been to Breakers but this tour is so much better with small tour van and no crowds for the downloaded audio tour of this GildedAge mansion. Recommend you make this your choice in Newport!
