Ha Giang - Quan Ba - Yen Minh - Dong Van

Dong Van - The tour begins at 8:30 am, with pick-up from your hotel or hostel in Ha Giang or at the bus station. The journey crosses Bac Sum Pass, with stops at scenic viewpoints for photos. After a brief coffee break, the tour continues to Yen Minh for a delightful lunch. The drive then proceeds to Dong Van, where the entire Dong Van Karst Plateau is a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam. Expect to see endless rice fields, numerous limestone formations, and stunning vistas. Experience the life of hill-tribe villages where locals work the land. Just 18km from Dong Van Town, a visit to the Hmong King’s Palace, home to the Voung family in Sa Phin, is included. Arrival in Dong Van is in the late afternoon, perfect for enjoying a delicious dinner and some “happy water” after a day full of adventures. In the evening, explore the town or relax at the hotel or a charming homestay.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Du Gia Village

Du Gia - After breakfast, departure from Dong Van Town leads to the most scenic part of the journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. This legendary pass is renowned for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most challenging pass in the north, often called the “king” of Vietnam’s passes! The road winds through cliffs, ascending Ma Pi Leng Pass at altitudes of 1,400m to 1,800m. From the spectacular mountain viewpoint, witness the Nho Que River flowing through one of Vietnam’s highest canyons and capture unforgettable photos. The journey continues to more remote villages, offering insight into life in Vietnam’s distant regions. The road leads to Mau Due for lunch and a break. Afterwards, the drive continues through various villages, with an overnight stay at a homestay with a Tay Minority Family, enjoying dinner and “happy water” with the family.

Du Gia - Duong Thuong Village - Ha Giang City

Ha Giang - After breakfast and bidding farewell to the homestay host, the journey resumes, promising more awe-inspiring natural beauty and landscapes. The route back to Ha Giang is filled with attractions, including a waterfall from the mountain. Arrival in Ha Giang is timely for catching a bus or limousine back to Hanoi, or you can opt for a night bus back to Hanoi.
