Great history lesson before the boat ride - I didn't pay enough attention when booking this experience, so for anyone reading this before booking/researching the details, pay attention. This has a walking tour before getting on the boat portion. I would recommend some shoes vs sandals. I love history so this was pretty interesting. Howie, our guide, was very polite and more than willing to answer questions and talk with our group, and appeared to be very genuine. Howie didn't rush anyone and didn't move on from the little areas we stopped at until it appeared everyone was ready.

Family reunion fun! - That even though you reserve a time, it doesn't mean you board the boat at that time. There's quite a bit of waiting, but it's worth it. Bring water to hydrate!
