• Skylon Tower - Start your walking tour by meeting your knowledgeable guide at Skylon Tower. In addition to the breathtaking views and photo opportunities, you’ll be introduced to the Niagara Generating Stations, which supply power to a quarter of New York State, and the International Control Dam, where water is diverted for use in the Station.
• Skylon Tower - Before leaving Skylon Tower, explore the new Daredevil Exhibit (opened in 2025) to discover the stories of these courageous individuals and see the actual barrels they used to challenge the Falls.
• Illumination Tower - Situated near the base of the Niagara River, the Illumination Tower transforms Niagara Falls into a vibrant water and light spectacle every evening at dusk. Learn about the mechanics of the light show and the notable figures, including British Royalty, who have walked this path before.
• Nikola Tesla Statue - Delve into the life of one of the most underrated inventors whose contributions to the world are immense. As you explore his legacy, you’ll learn about his inventions that utilized water power to generate hydroelectricity, his role in the ‘War of the Currents’ with Edison, and his often eccentric behavior.
• Horseshoe Falls - Walk along the boardwalk to gaze at Horseshoe Falls, one of the three waterfalls that comprise Niagara Falls. Take a moment to absorb the captivating beauty, observe the whirlpool below, and understand why Tesla and others were inspired to harness the natural power displayed here.
• Niagara Parks Power Station - The first significant power plant on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Parks Power Station was completed in 1905 to generate hydroelectricity using the Niagara River’s power. Entering this impressive structure feels like stepping back in time. With original machinery still present, you’ll have the chance to participate in hands-on training exercises. Discover the thrust deck, brake deck, and turbo deck as you learn about their functions and the future of hydroelectricity. At this point, your guide will bid farewell and provide audio guides for you to explore the Power Station and Tailrace Tunnel at your leisure.
• Niagara Parks Power Station - What you observe from the top of the power station is just the beginning. Descend 180 feet through the power station’s inner workings, then follow the path the water took through the Tailrace Tunnel to enjoy a unique view from the base of Niagara Falls.
