Great Experience - On May 31st my husband and I came to your winery. We were taken care of by Donna and she was very lovely and welcomming. Wicked Wonderful Winery - To say this was a wonderful introduction to eh Konzelmann Winery would be a great understatment! Let's start with the venue itself, if you like clean solid nouveau Mission style, you're gonna love it here. But the important thing is the tasting so let's get started! The sommelier who helped us was Michael and I can say the man knew his stuff! he told us wonderful stories about the winery and the wines themselves. He was definitely a most helpful addition to the whole experience and I would recommend booking your flights with him. The wines were perfectly paired with the food in the most complimentary way. We started with a Pinot Blanc (never even knew it existed) with a Brie and red pepper jelly. The wine itself was very fruit forward and had the most delightful bouquet of apple then tasted light and a bit acidic (worked really well with the Brie) and then finished with a slight whiff of fresh pear. Simply Glorious! The next sample was an un-oaked Baco Noir. I was a bit leery because I've always associated a very tannin heavy and very dry profile with Baco but this stainless steel aged offering was simply exquisite. It was fruity (if you like berries, this wine is for you) and a bit jammy in its finish. It paired beautifully with a puff pastry spiral and some jalapeno cheese. Very nice juxtaposition! The last bit of goodness was a mulled wine based off a nice Merlot (my normal sipping wine) with a s'more. Simply sinful! The real trick came when Michael suggested a nice Peach wine the winery produced. Now, I have a real love for fruit wines other than grape but was a bit wary because it doesn't always turn out as well balanced as it should. This Peach wine was not on the normal flight offering but I'm so glad we opted for it. It was a pure and straight-forward sip of summer. It was balanced, fruity but not overly sweet. They put a lot of effort into this wine and it definitely shows with the polished and easy result. So good in fact, I left with a case of the peach and another six bottles of the Baco. If you wanna skip the tasting and just go for the wine, you won't be disappointed; the flight by the fire and chatting with good knowledgeable folks like Michael will not be time wasted, I can promise you that!

Great experience - Konzelmann Fireside Flight! - I was pleasantly surprised with the Fireside Flight experience at Konzelmann. When we went it was raining which dripped a bit into our area from their roof, but it was cozy and warm by the fire and we sat away from the drips (the entire area is enclosed so we were safe from the weather). The wine pairings were interesting with the food choices. We loved the roasted brie, but neither of us liked the chipotle sauce with the second tasting. The wines were delicious - especially the Baco Noir. Our wine consultant John was friendly, knowledgeable, and a delight to chat with. John really elevated our experience with some small added touches that made it extra special. We also tasted their peach wine which Konzelmann is known for and it was delicious! With our Fireside flight tasting ($30 per person), we received three wine pairings, a $10 gift card to be used at the Outlet Collection at Niagara, and a discount in their wine store. Overall, I thought this was a fun 1-hour experience that wasn't break-the-bank, that you could do with friends or a spouse. We will be going back for another one of their experiences!

Fireside ...thumbs up - It was cold outside but the fireside tasting was great. Thanks Michael. The mulled wine was definitely our favorite and warmed us up!

Fireside flights experience - We had an incredible experience with Michael. He went above and beyond what we expected, providing expert recommendations and deep knowledge about each wine. His passion for wine was evident in every detail, making the experience so enjoyable. One of the highlights was getting to cook food over an outdoor fire, which added a unique and memorable touch to the tasting. If you’re looking for a wine consultant who truly cares about creating an unforgettable experience, look no further. Highly recommend!

AMAZING - This winery is amazing. The fact you get the history of the Winery and see the architectural designs inside. The Staff here are TOP NOTCH Employees, Michael followed by another lady whose name I didn't catch before she went on Lunch, an absolute WOW of a performance from those two. Michael went above and beyond what my expectations were, filled with great knowledge of wine & a definite asset to the company. Michael displayed what it means to be a good and true employee, the time taken to ensure we had a great experience was ASTOUNDING. Great job & will definitely return in the summer to re-visit!

Cozy Fireside Bliss: A Must-Do NOTL Winter Experience! - Fireside Flights at Konzelmann Estate Winery is an absolute gem and a must-do winter activity for anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake! The experience was cozy and private, making it feel incredibly special and intimate. The wine was absolutely delicious, and the thoughtfully curated food pairings elevated the tasting to a whole new level. Our host, John, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the wines and the history of the winery. His expertise added so much depth to the experience. It’s clear that Konzelmann has mastered the art of creating memorable experiences for their guests. We can’t recommend Fireside Flights highly enough!

Great experience - We highly recommend this experience! John was very friendly and knowledge about the food and wine pairings, we really enjoyed chatting with him! The atmosphere was warm and comfortable even while it snowed outside! Do wear a coat and dress for the weather.

Great experience for a girls day outing - Had a wonderful time at the fireside flights experience. John was fantastic and went above and beyond for us. Would happily recommend this. Great snacks as a pairing with your wine. I was worried about being cold since it’s the winter but in addition to the fire table there were also other heaters that made the space comfortable

Loves the fireside experience !!! - The fireside experience is amazing. Have done it twice now. This latest time on Nov 28 was even better than the last! Our servers John and Caitlin were so friendly and knowledgable! They really made the experience fantastic. Loved all the pairings. Highly recommend this experience !
