Niagara Falls small group tour - Our guide Heidi was phenomenal. She told us so much about the Niagara Falls area in addition to local restaurants she recommends and where to stand on the boat to get the best experience. The tour was fantastic but she made it better.

Exhilarating ...... and a Bit Exhausting - Our family of 4 (2 adults / 2 teens) wanted a more unique experience of Niagara River and we got it! Though I'd still consider the jet boats a tourist attraction, it obviously sets itself apart from the traditional boat cruises. The experience was well organized with friendly staff that made even the hesitant participants feel informed and as comfortable as possible. The price was comparable to other attractions in the area and worth having access to the river. Leaving your valuables behind is a must to avoid water damage, so prepare to purchase a picture or video package upon departure if you want visual proof your group conquered the rapids!

Thrilling Way to Appreciate Niagara River - If you’re looking for a way to appreciate the power of the Niagara River firsthand, this is it. Like the company claims and other reviewers have said you will get absolutely soaked, but will also get incredible views of the river and a wild ride! The power of the river is remarkable and you’ll get to feel it. The commentators and captains clearly know what they’re doing. I highly recommend wearing boat shoes or crocs as the boat will fill up to your knees with water, and a change of clothes that you can store in a free locker and then change after. Don’t wear hats or loose items as the boat goes almost 30 miles an hour not to mention there are several huge amounts of water landing on you as the boat plows through a massive rapid. My only suggestions would be 1) several of the speakers on our boat, the pink boat, seemed either to be malfunctioning or weren’t loud enough for us to hear a lot of what our guide said, and 2) for them to wrap some foam around the metal poles that support the handrails because being 6’1” I noticed that myself and others were kind of cramped and my knees kept hitting a pole. They do have little pockets to hold glasses hanging from the handrail, but the edging on these is worn, and the woman next to me, kept getting slightly scraped by hers. Minor suggestions and easily fixed. Definitely worth it, and it will be a long time memory for anyone who tries it!

- Captain Charlie and guide Simon were awesome! A friend told us about the Jet Boat tour and we were a little nervous but had so much fun! You do get totally soaked head to toe so plan accordingly. So glad we did this.

Awesome! - It was such a fun experience. You don’t go to the falls, but just going upstream and riding the white water was INSANE! Forever will remember this and can’t wait to come back and do it again

Good for some, but disappointing for others. - I was seated in the very back row. I couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t hear the guide. I bought the photo package in advance, and you can’t really make us out in any of the pictures. I think it would have been really fun from the front, where you could see. As I’m moderately claustrophobic, it would have been far more comfortable. I would recommend waiting until you know your seats to consider the photo package. I booked months in advance and centred my whole trip around this excursion. Pre-booking specific seats would be a useful option. It was still a good time, but more so because they made my daughter smile occasionally. I’m grateful for the experience, but not anxious to book it again because I can’t guaranty it would be any better.
