• Reif Estate Winery - As one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s founding family wineries, established in 1982 by The Reif Family and later led by Klaus W. Reif, Reif Estate Winery produces wines from its 125-acre vineyard, first planted in 1977. Located in the Niagara River sub-appellation, it is ideal for sun-loving grape varieties. The long growing season is enhanced by the river, which prevents early spring and late fall frosts.

The vineyard is situated in Ontario’s warmest sub-appellation, perfect for producing rich, full-bodied wines. The farm is home to some of the oldest vinifera plantings in Canada, which is advantageous in cooler climates like Ontario, as mature vines ripen earlier.
