Amazing experience - We were visiting from Buffalo, NY for the day. Stopped by the only winery on the lake. It was so nice! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was very good. Megan and Riley were so helpful. Beautiful property.

Spring Sips - We utilized our long layover to visit this lovely winery. Donna and Maddie were our wine consultants and they did an awesome job explaining our wine pairings and the history of the vineyard. It was a little warm sitting outside, but there were tables set up in shaded areas. Would have liked to have taken a tour of the vineyard to see the whole behind the scenes process, which I believe they offer, but we were not able to with our time frame.

Great experience! - This tour experience was so much fun! I did this tour with my mom when we were on a layover at the Toronto airport and we loved every second of it. Maddie and Donna had so much knowledge on the wine and food sample pairings and were very pleasant. Definitely recommend!

A Very Good short wine experience ! - On our way back to Toronto from Niagara-on-the-Lake, we called into Konzelmann on the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We wanted to do a simple tasting of some of their wines. We were introduced to Gabriella in the tasting room/shop snd she made us most welcome. Gabriella talked about the different wines available and we made our choices.
All wines were good for our palates, some Very Good. Gabriella is full of knowledge of her products. We much enjoyed our tasting and time there. Interesting to see afterwards that Konzelmann is rated #2 of all the “Things to Do in Niagara-on-the-Lake”. I can see why! Highly recommended by a New Zealander who knows his wines.

Simple and pleasant - We purchased 3 wine trials from the vineyard for $10.
This allowed us to discover their white wines mainly.
We were surprised by the quality of the wines and we left with a good pinot blanc to taste on the terrace of our hostel accompanied by an Italian pizza.
The staff was friendly, the room spacious and the vineyard overall pleasant.

Loved it! - We went on the Saturday of the long weekend! Walked in without a reservation and Gabriella helped us out! She was great at explaining everything and had amazing recommendations. She was fantastic! We would visit again for sure. Left with a few bottles of the Peach wine!

NO Lake View or Access - Wine quality aside, it was one of our most disappointing experiences in the Canadian wine country. The estate is advertised as a “scenic winery on Lake Ontario,” but no part of the lakefront is accessible to the visitors. Instead, one can purchase a $30/person experience (Summer Sips) to sit in the parking lot (no view of the lake or the vineyard) or a $50/person experience (The Dome experience) to sit in a small plastic bubble with the view of the vineyard peeking through tiny plastic windows. Even the tour of the vineyard does not at any point take you to the lake. The Summer Sips experience itself was underwhelming. The staff were very accommodating, but the food pairings were poorly thought out and equally poorly prepared. For instance, “pico de gallo” was just a cup of flavorless chopped tomatoes and onions (no cilantro, jalapeño, lime juice, or salt in sight). If you are interested in the wine, go ahead and do a tasting in their main building. If you are more interested in the food, pick another estate, such as Inniskillin or Two Sisters, for a quality dining experience.
