- Lom Velka Amerika - Take in the views of the “Czech Grand Canyon” between food stops. This former limestone mine has been featured in several Czech films (e.g., Medieval) and fairy tales. A short, flat 15-minute hike allows a glimpse of the neighboring “Mexico” mine, a former political prisoner camp during the Communist era, known as “Czech Mathausen.”
- Karlstejn Castle - Marvel at the second most visited castle in the Czech countryside (after Cesky Krumlov) from a distance. For a public guided tour of the castle’s interiors, choose the option with the Karlstejn castle tour (not available in winter months, on Mondays, and on weekdays in spring/autumn).
The castle’s history dates back to the 14th century when it was built to store the Czech Crown Jewels and serve as a summer residence for the Holy Roman Emperor. Today, it stands as a symbol of Czech patriotism.
- KonEpruske Caves - Explore the House of Czech Karst, a protected natural area, and its small local museum. Located next to the entrance of the largest cave system in Czechia, a public guided tour of the caves is available with the tour option (not available in winter months). The cave system includes around 500 steps (no climbing or crawling) and maintains a temperature of approximately 50°F / 10°C.
- Pivovar Kytín - Continue sampling delicious Czech cuisine and enjoy a beer tasting session at a beloved local microbrewery (beer tasting and food samples included).
- Mnisek pod Brdy Castle - Appreciate the charm of a small-town Czech chateau in Mnisek pod Brdy, with a history dating back to the 13th century. Its elegant Baroque facade, tranquil courtyards, and panoramic views of the Brdy Hills captivate visitors. As you wander through the castle grounds, discover romantic gardens, historic gates, and serene spots perfect for photos and relaxation. It’s an ideal stop to immerse yourself in Czech history, architecture, and small-town allure—all in a peaceful, storybook setting.
- Dobrichovice - Conclude your journey with a “sweet cherry on the cake” and coffee (included) at a local bakery renowned for its traditional Czech cakes, kolaches, cream rolls, and more. After this final stop, return to Prague in a private car (back to your accommodation or another location of your choice). The drive takes approximately 45 minutes.
