Following a hiking route up to 2000 meters on the Southern slope of Etna, you will have the chance to admire forests, craters, lava formations, and scenic views of the mountain.

Explore Mount Etna on tour from Catania! You will be introduced to the landscapes and geology of the Volcano from our naturalistic and passionate guide.
Following a hiking route up to 2000 meters on the Southern slope of Etna, you will have the chance to admire forests, craters, lava formations, and scenic views of the mountain.
You will visit a volcanic cave using the equipment provided from us (helmets and torches).
After the trekking, you will stop to enjoy an outdoor picnic made of typical Sicilian Street food, accompanied by water and red Etna wine. During the Winter Season, due to the low temperatures, the outdoor picnic would be substituted with lunch with pizza or typical products in a nice Chalet.
The tour is in Italian and English. Upon request also in Spanish and French.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- English and Italian guide are always available, French and Spanish are subject to availability. Upon booking, we will confirm you if the language required is available.
- Guests need to wear trekking shoes and bring a jacket. We can provide trekking shoes and jackets for free at the moment of the booking if requested.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide

Value experience - Taking a tour of Mount Etna with an extraordinary and passionate guide like Angelo gives a value to the visit that otherwise would never have been perceived. An enriching and very pleasant experience, because thanks to a guide, if good as in this case, you will discover a thousand interesting topics that concern volcanology, biodiversity, history and anecdotes that can interest young and old. We were in fact with family, everyone had fun, with exceptional conclusion in place away from the crowds at the foot of Etna, eating arancino, pizzas, delicious panzerotti and natural wine (he is also a winemaker). Thanks Angelo, to be repeated also with other routes that carry out throughout Sicily

Etna Morning Experience - It was a well organised trip. Although there were 2 cars due to the number of participants, a radio was used so allow both cars to hear the guide. The guide frequently waited for the group to come together before continuing his explanations. All in all, I would strongly consider another trip from them if we are back in Sicily.

10 and praise!!! - Really great experience. Perfect organization! Our driver Ciccio, very nice, came to pick us up and drove us directly to the hotel. Iorga, our guide, very prepared, friendly and very passionate, accompanied us throughout the excursion, including the trip, providing us with information, curiosities and everything expected from a tour guide... we would have been listening to him for hours. They also provided us with vests and shoes!! Perfect also the picnic that we all had together at the end of the excursion, with street food specialties from Catania. Etna with snow was a really fascinating experience!!

Best Etna Experience - Contacted the company and were very helpful in responding promptly to give all the necessary information. My guide was called Mirko, which I highly recommend!! Very kind, very knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. Mirko made the meeting to various people in the group and drove us back to the same points on the way back. We managed to have time to take a break, start the trek, take pictures, a lunch break included in the price and visit the cave in half a day without feeling like being considerate. The group was great and I had the opportunity to meet some beautiful people with whom I had a lot of fun despite having initially come alone. I highly recommend the company and especially Mirko as a guide to both local people and tourists!

Fatigue but also lots of laughter - We had a great time! we were provided hiking shoes and suitable jacket always included in the price and at the end of the excursion they took us to ursino castle without surcharge! great lunch with Sicilian diner (arancini, homemade, pizzas) great guide (Giovanni) driver of the jeep (Francis said uncle Ciccio) competent and group with whom we also made many laughs over of course fatigue in the climbs! highly recommend

Etna safely and with sympathy - Everything perfect, very interesting experience, nice and prepared guide, absolutely to recommend!
The service included an appointment in an agreed location with us, a stone's throw from where we were staying, and where they then accompanied us, as well as a hearty snack in a refuge on Mount Etna, based on local delicacies and wine (arancini, pizza and various pastries), with attention to one of our fellow adventurers, lactose intolerant had snack ad hoc. They also provide suitable jackets and shoes.
We thank Danilo for his professionalism, sympathy and willingness to answer our many questions always with a smile! Not too demanding ride, suitable for all ages.

A Fun Adventure! - It was the perfect day! Salvo and Mirko were amazing guides - knowledgeable, funny and kind. The hike wasn’t too hard either! Lots of built in resting points to make it manageable. Overall, I’d highly recommend it.

Etna Experience Amazing!! - We took the tour this morning with Marco. He was knowledgeable, personable and fun. He was great at explaining the volcanic activities, he even drew pictures in the rocks. A half day started at 8:30 and we finished at 15:00. Plenty of time for hiking the craters, hiking in the grotto, plenty of pictures and a delicious Sicilian lunch. Perfecto!!

Unmissable experience - From the moment we met Giovanni, our guide on this fantastic half day, we were thrown into a fantastic experience. For years I had dreamed of visiting Etna and, not only were all my curiosities satisfied, but the surprises, everything we learned and the emotion that this very knowledgeable and passionate boy conveyed to us made this day unforgettable.
