Yes, you want this tour! - Nikko is a magical little city, and there is no better way to discover it than with this walking tour. The tour company made it easy to book a guide for the day, and we were fortunate to have Kaori as our guide. The normal starting point for the tour is the train station, but when Kaori learned we were all staying at the Nikko Kanaya Hotel, she agreed to meet us there. Kaori has an excellent command of English, and an in-depth knowledge of Nikko. We were lucky to be in town for a festival, and she skillfully guided us around town to take advantage of the floats and events, without being caught up in the crowds. She was helpful in negotiating some of the more difficult (steep, shallow) steps in the temple area. She arranged for a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant. Nikko is a magical city, and this tour helped us to experience the joy and magic of this place. Strong five-star recommendation.

Nikko Privat Tour - I had the luck to be on a private tour in Nikko. My Tourguide Ikuko was the best. Everything was well organized. She knows everything and explained all to me very well. I can totally recommend!

You. Must.Do.This. - It was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. The guide was knowledgeable, personable, and by the end of the tour, she felt like our long time friend. She was flexible with our needs, picked a wonderful place for our lunch her plan was well thought, and we had such a great day. I cannot recommend this tour higher. Visiting those places in Nikko with the knowledgeable guide makes a huge difference, because there are so many historical and cultural details you would miss otherwise.
