Hill station feeling in Nikko - Mr.Cheema our driver was very knowledgeable and courteous. Switched stops depending on weather. Full 5 star rating. We went upto 4000 ft elevation. Waterfall and the lake were well worth the visit.

Great Nikko day trip - Had a pleasant experience with the day trip to Nikko. Ahsan, was friendly and communicated well through the tour. He picked us up on time and though we left a little later than scheduled, he stayed professional and made sure we saw everything without feeling rushed. We were able to visit the ropeway, Kegon Falls, Lake Chuzenji, the Imperial Villa, Shinkyo Bridge, and the stunning Toshogu Shrine. The trip was well-paced, informative, and very enjoyable. Ahsan made our day memorable, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nikko!

Best solution for a day from Tokyo to see Nikko’s best sights - This is the best experience when you only have 1 day from Tokyo and have no time to prep by yourself, you just need to go with the flow and let Ahsan guide you. If you choose a bus tour, most likely you will not have enough time to do everything you would want and not have any flexibility based on your own preferences. Ahsan kept us on schedule and provided good knowledgeable information along the way. Be ready to do some minimum research before you go though on what you would like to spend more time on and also for practical reasons (Toshogu Shrine entrance ticket can only be bought cash or with a suica card). For details, we did: Kegan falls ropeway 1,000¥ credit card ok (did not do the elevator as you can get a nice view from the stairs and a little platform - no fee) Chuzenji lake Imperial villa 600¥ credit card ok Lunch Shinko bridge Toshogu shrine 1,600¥ cash only or suica

Too much driving - not enough time to see Nikko - The driver spoke English and he was friendly enough. However, this tour is badly thought out. We booked it because it sounded like a good idea to see the cultural sites and natural beauty of Nikko in a single day. However, we spent a morning driving in the mountain for an underwhelming view of Kegon falls and a walk to the lake (which is nothing to write home about), and then had very little time to visit the main attractions, which are the reason for Nikko’s fame: the World-Heritage Toshogu shrine and other classified buildings. Moreover, we didn’t get any information that this would be the case or we would have asked the driver to change the route. In fact, we got very little information at all: the driver just dropped us off in each place without asking what we were looking forward to or giving us an overview of the expected route and planned stops. He also tried to get us to leave early, saying we would need to pay extra if we got to Tokyo late. We weren’t going to leave without checking out the main attraction, and as it turned out we still made it back in time, so the extra stress was unnecessary. Specially if it’s your first time in Nikko, make sure you spend it in the prime spots and not wasting your precious time driving around.
