Hanoi – Cuc Phuong Park, the Wildlife (L, D)

Cuc Phuong National Park - Begin the day with an 8:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi, followed by a departure to Cuc Phuong National Park. The first stop is the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a non-profit organization focused on the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their habitats. Continue into the park’s center, pausing to visit the “Cave of Early Man,” and embark on a trek through the national park to enjoy the scenery and learn about the diverse fauna and flora in Vietnam’s oldest forest, including a visit to the giant ancient tree in the heart of the jungle.

Check into your room and relax at Mac Lake, situated in the center of Cuc Phuong National Park. The serene and refreshing environment of Mac Lake will reconnect you with nature and alleviate any fatigue from the forest trek. Enjoy dinner before embarking on a night exploration to discover the jungle’s nocturnal wildlife, such as civets, owls, large insects, flying squirrels, and bats.

Later, depart the national park and transfer to Van Long (Van Long Wetland Reserve), an ideal spot to unwind and let your mind wander amidst the diverse limestone formations of Van Long Nature Reserve. Enjoy a 2-hour boat trip, rowing through the beautiful wetland of Van Long Natural Reserve, surrounded by rice paddies, lotus ponds, and towering limestone mountain peaks.

Have lunch at a restaurant before returning to Hanoi, concluding the tour at your hotel.

Perfume Pagoda - In the afternoon, continue your journey to one of Vietnam’s most sacred sites: the Perfume Pagoda (Chùa Hương).
