Day 01: Hanoi – Van Long - Cuc Phuong – Overnight in Bich Dong
Cuc Phuong National Park - At 07:00, guests will be picked up from their hotel for a trip to Van Long, a unique national natural reserve. Enjoy a serene bamboo sampan ride through the wet valley filled with wild grass and water lilies, observing herds of langurs and storks. The sampan journey, lasting 1.5 hours, will navigate through tunnel grottos and mountain paths before returning to the shore.
-Lunch will be served in Cuc Phuong.

-Embark on a trek to the Thousand-year-old tree, the oldest and largest in the park.
-Explore the Pre-historical man cave.
-Listen to biologists discuss the endangered precious primates of the world and Vietnam.
-Visit the Botanical Garden and animal preservation zone, then continue driving into the central park.
-Travel to Tam Coc for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Tam Coc - Hoa Lu - Hanoi or Ninh Binh Train Station
Tam Coc - Breakfast is served at the hotel at 07:30.
At 08:00, when the area is free of tourists, enjoy a sampan trip along the winding canals (2 people per boat) through three tunnel grottos known as “Tam Coc.” Revel in the breathtaking scenery of mountains, canals, rice paddies, and rural villages within the National Natural Reserve, often referred to as Halong Bay on land.
-After the sampan trip, enhance the experience by cycling through farming villages to discover the authentic Vietnam and its rural culture. Feel free to stop for visits or photos along the way to Hoa Lu.
-Visit Mua Cave, a beautiful and authentic site offering a panoramic view of the Ninh Binh landscape.
Hoa Lu Temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties - Walk to explore Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. It is worthwhile to visit the two remaining old temples of the Dinh and Le kings and learn about the history of the Great Viet’s foundation after liberation from a thousand years of Chinese rule.
-Climb the mountain to visit the ancient tomb of the kings.
-Cycle back to the hotel to collect luggage and freshen up.
-Finally, drive to Hanoi or Ninh Binh train station for the night train heading south.

Tam Coc is part of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a dual UNESCO World Heritage Site with both cultural and ecological significance. This tourist attraction is renowned for its spectacular landscape of limestone mountains, caves, and rice paddies.
Van Long is also one of the last wild refuges of the endangered Delacour’s langur (population roughly 120), partly because the wetlands keep predators and poachers at bay. Langurs are not easy to spot; try your luck early in the morning or in the evening
