pleasant, well thought out adventure through Ninh Binh - The tour guide nicknamed QA led us on a cushioned adventure through Ninh Binh
Highlights
- reasonable price for entire experience
- relatively nice air-conditioned van that picked up four of us for the day trip
- bottled water, umbrellas, chair cushions provided
- short hike up a mountain for panoramic views of Tam Coc and Ninh Binh; scaled over precarious weather-eaten limestone rock to traverse the length of a manmade dragon at the top
- easy bike ride through rice fields and rural area with limestone mountains; admired marble graveyards floating in the middle of the paddies
- farmer-made banana rice wine
- delicious Vietnamese lunch of chayote stir fried with garlic, papaya carrot salad sandwiched between rice crackers, caramelized pork, spring rolls, and more
- relaxed boat ride through Tam Coc to view caverns, rice paddies, and limestone mountains
- quick stop at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, along with the shrine for the first emperor
- many goofy goats and cute dogs spotted randomly throughout the day

Ninh Binh Tour for the win! - First off, QA was an excellent tour guide. He was informative and attentive to our needs. The tour was really challenging and fun. High mobility is necessary to climb the mountain in Ninh Binh. We were happy to make it to the top, but it was not easy. The views in Ninh Binh were out of this world. The bicycle ride was super cool. Tasting authentic rice wine was a bonus. The rice fields river boat ride was a great finish to a great day. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in a real Vietnam experience.

Ninh Binh Tour - I had a great time on the excursion. We were a group of 8. Our tour guide was awesome. Guided us through the tour and enjoyed his take on the history of Vietnam. They had all the supplies needed for the trip. Umbrella’s, life-jackets, etc. Biking around Binh Ninh was my favorite part. All the scenery was breathtaking.

A full and pleasant experience! - Hoá (Bruce Lee) and our Driver for my groups April 16th trip was wonderful. We had a group of 8 and it ended up being a private tour. Hoá was very pleasant and had such friendly energy. We felt so comfortable on the drive to Ninh Bin some of us fell asleep. The group was well informed and accommodated, with Hoá providing all necessities for a rainy day. The team showed us everything within the itinerary and went above and beyond to cater to us, even backtracking to get a group member's forgotten sunglasses. The trip itself to Ninh Bin was absolutely beautiful even with the rainy day (umbrellas and raincoats were provides). The community was strong and it was a swell experience :)

Very interesting trip with a top guide! - Very interesing day trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. QA told us a lot about the vietnamese culture and was very kind and helpfull. We would strongly recommend QA and his organisation. Everything was perfectly organised.

We loved this tour - This was an excellent tour! Tom and Jerry made a great team! Tom had so much knowledge about the history of the area. The tour was so much fun with hiking, bicycling, and boating! The local house was a very nice experience. My husband and I really loved this tour!

Great experience and on time - We had a great time and our guide, Bruce Lee, was punctual and polite. We started the day at 7AM to beat rush hour and return earlier. It was the right decision. We recommend this company and the tour guide and will use again when we return in the future with family. We booked a private tour for two through the Peridot Hotel concierge where we are staying at.

Ninh Binh Your Blowing My Mind! - Hoa (Bruce Lee) took great care of us from pick up to drop off. Hoa patients, knowledge and experience made us feel comfortable and safe during our entire trip. You high recommend to both traveling families and backpackers.
