Don’t miss out!! - Right from the start, this was an incredible experience. The guides were knowledgeable and Susan made you feel like part of the family. It was great value for money and we really got the chance to experience life on the Mekong.

Must-do in Mekong! - We had an amazing stay at Susan's homestay. We chose the 2 days/1 night private tour and wished we could have stayed more! The homestay is really nice, comfy and clean, with a big swimming pool. The best part of our stay was the discovery of the Mekong region with Susan by bike, we learnt a lot and got to taste many delicious fruits! We also went to the market together and cooked part of our dinner with Susan. The visit of the Can Tho floating market and the boat trip nearby with Tai was also amazing, with several interesting stops (cocoa farm, noodle rice factory...). Most of the time, we were almost alone with our guides. So far, this was the best experience of our 3 weeks stay. We highly recommend Susan's Home and her Mekong touring 😊

Excellent fully-immersive tour of the Mekong Delta - Susan’s 3D2N tour of Can Tho was fantastic. My partner and I saw the tour mentioned on a travel blog which led us to this TripAdvisor page and I noticed all the 5-star reviews. Booking the tour was very easy, simple via WhatsApp with Susan and she speaks excellent English and responds very quickly. We were collected from Can Tho bus station and taken to her beautiful house which has a lovely swimming pool, massage chair, hammocks and lots of areas to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The tour is busy with a lot of activities (especially on day 2) but you experience so much of local culture and the way of life of people who live in the Mekong Delta. Highlights included an e-bike tour with sampling of fresh fruit, a trip to a forest where we got to sit in small boats and were gently taken through the small rivers, a local fish farm where we had a fish foot massage and breakfast (delicious Vietnamese coffee and Pho) on the floating river market. There were so many amazing parts of this tour that if I were to speak about them all I would be writing an essay. Susan has reputable tour guides who take you on the adventures who speak very good English and are knowledgable about the history and culture of Vietnam. Her home is lovely - clean, spacious and very welcoming. Susan cooks lovely food and is considerate to anyone with food allergies/intolerances or if someone is vegetarian/vegan. The whole trip was hassle-free and professionally organised by Susan. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone - a 1-day tour would not allow a tourist to see any of the local culture other than the main “tourist sights”. If you want a fun 2-night trip with lots of food and cultural activities then you must stay with Susan! Thanks a million Susan, we will remember this trip for a very long time 😊

Authentic Mekong Delta Experience - We booked the 3D/2N package with Susan and it did not disappoint! Her homestay was welcoming, comfortable, relaxing and the home-cooked meals were delicious. She cooks with lots of veg from her garden. The 3 days were jam-packed with experiences from cycling to the local market, a cooking class, and breakfast at the floating market on the Delta. Susan’s colleague, Bao, took us around on day 2 and 3 and I have to say, he was one of the best tour guides I have ever had! So knowledgeable, so friendly and just a positive guy to be around. If you are looking for an immersive, non touristy experience of the Vietnamese way of life, this tour is for you!

Fabulous experience at Susan’s home! Not to be missed. - We stayed at Susan’s homestay for 3dats 2 nights after a recommendation from friends. It was a fabulous experience and Susan organised local tours for us . We went cycling through the countryside on our first afternoon and visited the local market with Ken. We spent a day with Bau at the forest and visited local sights. Bau was very knowledgeable and great fun. We cooked together with Susan and other guests one evening. On the final day we visited the floating markets on the Mekong with Tai and a cacao farm as well as learning how noodles are made. Susan was so welcoming and her home is clean with AC and a pool. Wish we could have stayed longer. Was a fabulous experience and highly recommend. PS be prepared to eat lots!!!!!

Fantastic Tour with Susan - Susan's Homestay is a lovely place to stay. We stayed for three nights and Susan is a very kind and caring host. She arranged pickup from the bus station to her home. We booked a full day tour and it was fantastic. Very interesting, very educational and our tour guide, Bao, was a great guy with a great sense of humour. We also went out on bikes with Bao around the local villages and to the local market to buy food to cook for dinner. He also took us to the local Pagoda on the same bike tour. On our last day Bao took us to the floating market where we had breakfast, and then on a boat trip around the Mekong Delta stopping at various places to see local fruit and flower farms, rice paper making and a cacao farm. The chocolate drink was lovely. Susan did all these tours for us. Highly recommended to stay with Susan and go on her tours.

Th best way to discover the Mekong delta - Great experience with Susan. We spent 3 days/2 nights. Susan made us do lots of different things : cooking vietnamese food, cycling around and discovering khmer pagoda or a local market, visiting a floating market in Can Tho with a local breakfast, factories (rice noodles, chocolate, poprice…), a fish farm, and exploring the jungle where Vietcongs lived during the war. Bao, our tour guide, was really good to explain all we had to know about the places we visited. It was the best way to discover the Mekong delta in 2 days. What’s more, Susan’place is peacefull and quiet. The room is simple but clean and welcoming. And the meals are delicious and abundant. We highly recommend !
