Very authentic tour with great guides - I did the 2D/1N tour. Susan's Homestay is an amazing place to stay in the Mekong Delta. Susan, the owner, helped with organising my bus from HCMC and picked me up at the bus stop. The homestay is beautiful with some amazing gardens and a pool. For the dinner we even used the fresh veggies from her garden! On the first day I did the bicycle tour with Susan, which was great. Such a beautiful area and you get to experience local culture as there are not many tourists in this village. In the evening I could help cooking dinner which was also a lot of fun. Susan is a very lovely person, sharing a lot about her life and culture. Her daughter is also a fun person to hang out with :) The next day I did the floating market tour with other people who also stayed at Susans homemstay. As a solo traveller it's always nice to have other people on your tour, I really enjoyed that! Our guide was Ken and he did such a good job at showing us around. He speaks REALLY good English, answered all the questions, got us a lot of local food to try and shared a lot of information about the area. It felt like he truly enjoys what he's doing and that's very special in a guide (and person). I only stayed for one night but wished I had more time. I recommend at least two nights or even more.

Can Tho Unique Homestay - We had a wonderful stay at Susan’s Homestay. She and her colleague, Bao, made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The countryside bike ride was a highlight, and we also enjoyed the company of a lovely Australian couple who joined us. Afterward, we cooled off with a swim in the pool, and Susan provided fresh coconut water — the perfect touch. Cooking dinner with Susan was such a fun and delicious experience, and she was very considerate about my low-salt diet, which I must follow closely as I can become quite ill. We loved learning more about Vietnamese culture, and Bao made the experience even richer by sharing some of his own personal stories. It was also special to see Susan’s mother helping with Susan’s daughter, her granddaughter. Our room was comfortable and clean. The early morning tour of the floating village with Boa was unforgettable. Susan and Bao truly love sharing their home city, and it shows. Highly recommend — such a great experience!

Do not miss out- a must do in the Mekong Delta - I rate Susan's home stay 100/5 Was such a treat to stay with her and her warm family. We were treated so kindly and nothing was too much trouble. We were kept very busy with the tours Susan had organized but each one of them was a truly memorable experience. Not to be missed if you want an authentic Vietnamese experience. Highly recommend for anyone!

Susan’s home stay and tours - We spent two nights and 3 days at Susan’s home stay. From start to finish the experience was seamless with food communication from Susan prior to our visit. Susan’s home stay is lovely and the kids especially loved the pool which was big and clean and one of the best pools we’ve experienced in Vietnam. The food was also amazing and it was great to try lots of local dishes and to learn how to make some of these in the cooking class. The tours we did were also great with friendly guides who went at our speed and explained everything as we went along.

Had a fantastic day - Really a fantastic tour Bauh our guide is the best. What an enthusiastic man. Everywhere ample time for no hurry and everything in a nice personal way. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

A fantastic day with susan to discover the floating can tho market and a thousand other things - Incredible discovery of the Mekong Delta region and the floating cantho market. Many thanks to Suzanne for this fantastic experience. She immersed us in the local culture of the floating market and its surroundings. She also offered us a wide variety of activities and taste discoveries Rich and authentic experience that we recommend with eyes closed. Undoubtedly a great moment of our trip to Vietnam

Great experience - We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Susan's. The accommodation was very basic with a large pool. The meals were delicious. We were able to discover life on and around the Mekong Delta. The experience was incredible. Everything was positive. We highly recommend it. The price was quite high for the quality of the service.

Overnight Mekong Delta tour - On my last trip to Vietnam I did a one-day tour of the Cu Chi tunnels And Mekong Delta but the time spent in Mekong Delta was very brief. I wanted to experience more. So this time I booked the overnight tour at Susan’s homestay. It was awesome! We got to spend more time on the waterways and in the local villages and the Khmer temple. I really liked visiting the cacao farm. Susan has done a great job with her property. The rooms are comfortable and don’t forget your bathing suit because the pool was so refreshing after a long day exploring. My favorite was preparing the evening meal together and learning how to make papaya salad. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour if you want a more in-depth experience of the Mekong Delta

Mekong delta visit worth booking, felt off the beaten track - We loved our two day 1 night tour with Susan and Bao, the guide. We feel we got a taste of the local life in the Mekong delta. From visiting the rice fields, tasting jackfruit & pomelos, cycling, the floating markets through to the homestay itself , the pool, the cooking; it was all well organised. The food we had was also worth to mention, really delicious all of it! And Bao is a great tour guide with lots of knowledge
