Wonderful experience close to nature! - We had a wonderful time on the 3-day canoe tour, traveling as a family with 2 kids and with another 2 kids as fellow travelers in our group of 8. The 4 kids gave the group a great dynamics. The trip is extremely well throught out and everything needed is provided. Our guide, Ben, always good humored, was patience personified with the kids and amazing in preparation of food, guiding hikes and the 6am early canoeing out on the lake to see wildlife. A truly amazing experience *if* you are willing to let civilization go and sleep in a tent, on a mat, after paddling 4hours and schlepping your canoe (and luggage) through the 300m portage. The remoteness is all worth it and camping at the lake was a great experience, in particular for the kids. I can only recommend this trip!

Breathtaking nature - We had booked the three-day Canoe Safari. Since we didn't have that much camping experience, we were a bit nervous. Our guide Andrew took the excitement away from us from the first moment. He was professional, very sovereign and incredibly friendly. By canoe we paddled to our camping spot. It was exhausting and really good to challenge the body a bit. The mornings were very cold, so you should definitely stick to the good packing list of the tour (even in summer). Since the weather forecasts are not reliable, equipment is necessary for all weather conditions. We really enjoyed the nature and the silence. Since we were there in June, there were still relatively many mosquitoes there (not to be deterred, was fine). We strongly recommend buying Mosquiti Repellant Cream locally in Canada. Then it went. The food was incredibly delicious, honestly better than in all the restaurants where we had eaten before. We definitely recommend the multi-day canoe tour with the Algonquin Adventure Tours! This should be taken into account in any travel planning in the region:) Thanks to Andrew and the Adventure Team!

Extremely Grateful!!! - Stuart was great in planning the trip for us and he had one of his guides, Andrew, take us on our 3 day trip. Andrew was professional, knowledgeable, and a great person to spend 3 days with camping. He made sure we got to spend the 3 days the way we wanted and still kept us well fed, safe, and happy. I definitely would recommend Andrew and Algonquin tours. Stuart was extremely nice, accomodating, and respectful. He was able to find halal meat for all our meals which I was truly happy about. He even found vegan marshmallows for us which is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you Stuart for making our trip so enjoyable and our first time camping a one to remember.

An incredible experience - I just wanted to write to say thank you for an incredible safari in Algonquin. The tour far surpassed my expectations in terms of wildlife, challenge and enjoyment. Had incredibly intimate viewing of moose and beaver as well as a wide array of other wildlife including black bear. The camping side of things was also fantastic: stunning locations and surprisingly good food. A huge shout out to Ben, my tour guide, who could not have been a more helpful, friendly and fun guide. I feel like he bent over backwards to give me the best experience possible and I am so grateful for that. Be aware, the mosquitos love the taste of an Englishman (and maybe others) so don’t estimate them as I did. It is also a challenging paddle: I really appreciated the challenge and was glad for it, but don’t be naive into thinking it will be easy! Would 100% go again. Thank you!

An unforgettable adventure! - I can not express enough how fantastic this trip was! Jamie was an exceptional guide. Very knowledgeable, educational and very fun! Besides seeing the moose and cliff diving, I’d say the highlight of the trip were all the songs we sang, whistled and hummed. Singing sea shanty’s while paddling was the best! Overall I was very impressed with the service and the trip in total. Very reasonably priced for what is included and I would highly highly recommend! And I can’t speak for the other guides, I am sure they are fantastic as well, but I would also highly recommend Jamie. Again, he was very knowledgeable and eager to teach us and tell us things and was very fun to be around. We all felt bad when he was caring for us because we stopped seeing him as a guide and instead a friend who was part of the adventure. 10 out of 5 stars!

2023 Outstanding June Canoe trip! - My son and I did the three-day trip with Jamie as our guide. This trip was perfect, my son and I talked about this trip all the way home, mostly about how much fun we had and that we couldn't believe how much wildlife we saw. Our guide. Jamie was very well prepared for our six person group we were with, the food he brought for our trip. I never expected to have on a camping trip. He was very well educated to know where to take us canoeing to see moose, beavers, fishing, and cliff diving. Lol. For a first time canoeing trip, my son and I had an excellent time and we're already talking about doing again next year and would definitely like to request Jamie as our guide. He really brought the trip together. My son and I thought it would be awkward camping for 3 days with four other people we never met before and the group just gelled right away and we had such a great time. We also learned a lot about canoeing, portaging, paddling, sterning, and sitting quiet to not disturb a moose cow and her young twins. I could continue writing more about our trip, but I think the best thing I can do is return next year and do it again. Thanks again Jamie. We'll done!!!

A high quality tour - After the guide’s briefing , we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Then we paddled from Canoe Lake to Tom Thomson Lake (about 13 km) with periodic break. We set up tents in a secluded wilderness campsite. Swimming, paddle, hike, fishing, campfire, searching of moose and beaver dam.......much more fun. Gourmet meals everyday. We enjoyed very much more than we expected.

An amazing getaway, made fun by the Tour Company. - We had so many fun experiences it is hard to list them all. From cliff jumping, to portaging, fishing and early morning moose spotting, these guys ensured we got the opportunity to do them all. We had the get away we were hoping for and we made some great friends along the way. I don't think the experience would have been half as enjoyable or safe had it not been for our guide. He was passionate about what he did and cooked some great meals. It is camping after all so it's not glamorous, but we loved every second.
